Ceremony Marking „150 years of Bayer“, Cologne Trade Fair CentreOver 1,000 guests came to the Congress Centrum Nord at the Cologne Trade Fair Centre to celebrate the founding of Bayer AG 150 years ago. The central element of the room-in-room concept developed for the ceremony was a three-section 360-degree media wall that spiralled around the guests. Video clips fleshed out the various aspects, telling the 150-year-old history in 150 seconds. The climax was a multimedia collage of the Bayer world: a veritable firework of colours and shapes exploded on the projection surface and a flood of images broke over the hall. Ballet dancers whirled over the stage accompanied by the sounds of the Bayer Philharmonic Orchestra. They operated the screens like giant touch-screens causing scenes and photos to appear and taking the audience on a multimedia journey through the company’s three divisions: MaterialScience, CropScience and HealthCare.

Über 1.000 Gäste waren in das Congress Centrum Nord der Koelnmesse gekommen, um die Gründung der Bayer AG vor 150 Jahren zu feiern. Zentrales Element des für den Festakt entwickelten Raum-im-Raum-Konzeptes war eine dreiteilige 360-Grad-Medienfläche, die die Gäste spiralförmig umschloss. Video-Einspieler vertieften die Aspekte, indem sie die 150-jährige Geschichte in 150 Sekunden erzählten. Den Höhepunkt bildete eine multimediale Collage der Bayerwelt: Ein wahres Feuerwerk aus Farben und Formen explodierte auf der Projektionsfläche, ein einziger Bilderrausch erfasste den Saal. Begleitet von den Klängen der Bayer-Philharmoniker wirbelten Ballett tänzer über die Bühne. Sie bedienten die Leinwände wie riesige Touchscreens, ließen so Szenen und Fotos erscheinen und nahmen die Gäste mit auf eine multimediale Reise in die drei Sparten MaterialScience, CropScience und HealthCare.
