Central's Collection for Life Centers
We wanted to share the results of the Central collection for Life Centers. Here is a nice message from
the Life Centers representative. "Ms. Fields took the picture of some members of Student Council (plus
Selah!) helping to load the supplies. Then the second picture is everything collected – wow! Central
students did such a great job! Because of their generosity, we are well-stocked on bottles, paciers,
teethers, burp cloths, washcloths, onesies, receiving blankets, books, and all kinds of other items for
our baby bundles! Thank you to Central Families for helping our organization to continue to serve
families with babies in Boone County!"

5th Grade Immunization Clinic
This is a reminder that the Boone County Health Department will be at Central Elementary to provide a
free Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. This clinic is free for students without insurance
coverage or for those that have insurance that does not cover vaccines. If you would like your student
to receive their immunizations here at school, please sign and return the consent form that was
attached to the parent e-mail sent earlier today. The Tdap, MCV 4, and Hep A are required
immunizations. The HPV is recommended. If you choose to have these immunizations done with your
health care provider, you will need to do so before your student enters 6th grade on August 12. Failure
to be compliant for the 2019-2020 school year will result in your student’s exclusion from school.
