Thank you for using Zling ZeniMP3 digital player. This User's Manual provides

detailed instructions and illustrations to help you enjoy your new player. To

ensure proper operation, please read the manual carefully.

Notices

a. Never use the player in the extremely hot, cold, dusty, wet and dry place.b. The service life of the battery varies due to the application conditions,

manufacturer and production date.

c. Please charge the player in the following cases:

1. The power icon on the player indicates no battery;

2. the system turns off automatically or turns off immediately after

power-on a second time; or

3. No response when the keys operated.

d. When formatting or uploading is on, never disconnect the player suddenly;

otherwise, program error will occur.

e. When the player is used as a mass storage device, please store and export

files with proper file management and operation method; otherwise, the

wrong operation method may cause file loss, which is not within our

responsibility.

f. Whether powered on or not, once connecting with the USB port of a

computer, this player can be charged.

g. Never disassemble this player without permission. Should any question,

please contact the distributor.h. If any change in regard to performance and function occurs, we will not

13. Video Conversion

AVI, at present, is the most popular video format among portable mediaplayers and also one of the most popular formats on the Internet. The video fileencoded with XviD/DivX format can have high video quality and compact size. Interms of visual quality, the video file encoded with XviD/DivX format has the sameeffect as that of the one with WMV or RMVB format.

This player supports such formats as avi, mpg, mpeg, rm, rmvb, wmv, datand etc to be converted to AVI format at high speed and with high quality.

System RequirementsThe basic configuration required for the AVI Converter software:CPU: Intel or AMD core; Intel Pentium 3 or above, including Intel Celeron series.

Installation1. Install AVConverter V1.0.2. After the installation , open the tool or click Start->Programs->A Converter->AVConverter V1.0->Send to Desktop.

Conversion

1. Click the button ofAdd; click the button beside Source file and choose

the path of source file;.

2. Click the button beside Target file path and choose the path of targetfile.

3. Choose High Quality and Aspect ratio to full.

4. After all parameters are set, click Convert Now button. ( Notice: the

resolution is 220*176 )

After the conversion progress has completed. Copy the target file to the player,and you will watch the video clips in the player.

15. Troubleshooting

a. The player cannot be powered onl Check whether the battery has power;

l Check again after connection power adapter;

If the player cannot be powered on after charged, please contact us.

b. No sound in the earphone

l Check whether the volume is set to be 0;

l Check whether the connection of the earphone is good;

a. Keys do not work

Please confirm whether the electronic lock is effective. If yes, please unlock it

by long pressing the EQ key, and then try to press the keys to see whether

they can work.

d. Much noise

l Check whether the plug of the earphone is clean, as pollutant can

cause noise;l Check whether the music file is damaged, try playing other music. If

the music file is damaged, much noise or leaping can be produced.

e. FM reception is not good

l Adjust the position of the earphone and the player;

l Switch off the electrical devices nearby;

Note :

The earphone can be used as antenna. Even you use the internalspeaker, you must plug the earphone.

f. Screen has scrambled codes

Please check whether correct language has been set. Please set language

Settings -> System Settings -> Language

g. Unable to download files

l Check whether the computer is well connected with the player;

l Check whether the storage space of the player is full;

l Check whether the USB cable is damaged.
