In our presentation we will show you about how the cell and the cell parts, cell functions,

and the structure and analogy of the cells, also we show how to identify and find a cure

to Lucio’s wheat problem while explaining the anatomy of plants and Recommend options

for a cure.

Thesis

Cell Wall

• Membrane around Cell• Allows Osmosis and Diffusion

• Holds in all the parts of the cell

Page 4: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Centrosome

• Small Organelle around the Nucleus.• This Organelle releases tubules.

• The centrosome divides during Mitosis.

Page 5: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Chlorophyll

• Chlorophyll uses sun for energy.• It provides the green color of plant cells.

• This organelle is Magnesium based.

Page 6: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Chloroplast

• Chloroplast transforms energy to food.• Converts energy using Photosynthesis.

• Is formed in a disk like shape.

Page 7: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Golgi Apparatus

• Looks like a stack of pancakes.• Packages Proteins and Carbohydrates.

• The Golgi Apparatus is like a library.

Page 8: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Cytoplasm

• A jelly-like material.• All organelles are in the cytoplasm.

• Similar to a Jell-O Cup because it holds organelles in.

Page 9: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Lysosome• Contains enzymes that break down waste.

• The Lysosome is like a trash can.• Gets rid of waste and debris.

Page 10: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Microtubules

• Rope like polymers in the cytoskeleton.• May work alone or with other

Microtubules.• Forms Complex Structures.

Page 11: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Mitochondrion

• Mitochondria is the Powerhouse of the Cell.

• The Mitochondria forms a double Membrane.

Page 12: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Nuclear Membrane

• Surround the Nucleus.• It has holes that allow some substances.

• Also the road stop of the cell.

Page 13: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Nucleus• Spherical Body

• Main Part or Boss of Cell• Contains Genetic Material

Page 14: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Nucleolus• A Small Dense Structure• Controls DNA Functions

• Like a mother

Page 15: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Plasma Membrane• Creates two layers around the cell

• I makes sure that nothing bad can get in• The Plasma Membrane is like a fence

Page 16: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Peroxisomes• In all Eukaryotic Cells

• Peroxisomes break down fatty foods particles

• The Peroxisomes are like a water treatment plant

Page 17: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Ribosome• Looks like a granule in the cell

• Composed of RNA• Ribosomes are like fingers

Page 18: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum

• Covered in Ribosomes• Transports materials through the cell• Looks like sacks around the nucleus

Page 19: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Secretory Vesicles• Membrane bounded materials

• Trash Bags of the Cell• Travel throughout the cytoskeleton

Page 20: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum

• Vast system of connect wires almost• Contains Enzymes that make lipids

• Helps the Golgi Apparatus

Page 21: Celly Cell Project Presentation

Vacuole• A Membrane Bound sack

• Filled with Water• Maintains many vital functions
