1 Kappa Xi Omega Sorority, Incorporated Cultivating Our Sisterhood, Continuing Our Legacy For Immediate Release Kappa Xi Omega Sorority, Incorporated will commemorate its diamond anniversary February 10, 2014. The sorority will observe ten years of sisterhood, action and service. The theme for the diamond year is Cultivating Our Sisterhood, Continuing Our Legacy. The magnanimous event countdown began September 10, 2013 with the unveiling of the official ten year logo. Kappa and her members will celebrate the majority of 2014 with a multiplicity of events throughout the United States. Social media will play a significant role in the Sorority’s celebration. Official hashtags and graphics have been developed for promotion. Sorors from Washington State to Washington, DC will pay homage to the Founders and their beloved sisterhood beginning with Diamond Day observances. Saturday, February 8, 2014 is the Diamond Day of Service. Kappa Xi Omega will provide signature service throughout the United States and abroad. All service events are open to the public. Sunday, February 9, 2014 is the Diamond Day of Leadership which is a Sorority wide training to build better sisters and leaders. Monday, February 10, 2014 celebrates That Diamond Spirit. Sorority members are to wear their letters to represent the Sorority and post pictures on social media sites with the official hashtags. Monday, February 10, will also debut a historical narrative of Kappa Xi Omega through the years.

March 2014 will mark S.O.S. Rewind (Serving Our Sisters) a month long collection drive for a shelter

serving women throughout areas served by the Sorority. “The accomplishments of Kappa Xi Omega

over the past 10 years give us many reasons to be thankful and require us to pause to pay tribute to our

Founders, past leadership, and all those who have helped us along our journey, “remarks Founder
