Recent Changes to CASBO CBO CertificationWe’ve ADDED the new “E” designation of CBO Certification.
Now, candidates who undergo the required 440 hours of training and satisfy the following requirements may “add the ‘E’” for Experience and Education, earning the CBOE Certification:
▪ Experience: 5 or more years of direct CBO experience, plus
▪ Education: A bachelor’s or graduate degree from an accredited university

How to Renew Your Certification◦CBO and Director Certifications are a five-year term.
◦CBO Certification Renewal requires 50 hours of CEU with a minimum of 10 hours per year.◦ 25 of those hours must be in School Finance. The other 25 hours must be spread across the other disciplines.
