Cauvesoft developed a CauveRaC software is an Enterprise Fleet Management System. This document will help to analyze our project with installation process and screen shots map their functional overview.

1.2 Solution

CauveRaC is a transport management system to succeed in your business. Whether your business has a fleet of 30 or 10,000 vehicles CauveRaC addresses most of your business bottlenecks. With this web-based easy to use solution you could manage your entire business efficiently from anywhere in the part of the world.

This is an integrated system which will help you prevent costly unexpected breakdown in business due to neglected vehicles and equipments. It also serves as a ready reckon to understand the fleet usage, maintenance, fuel economy, driver management, human resource management, accounting and finance management, maintenance system management, spares/inventory management, vehicle information management and all the necessary expenses associated with operating a successful fleet business.

With this solution you can create a unique service schedule for each vehicle you own. Vehicle Manager reminds you as the service due date comes near. Easily track the service status for all of your vehicles and equipment with simple red, yellow, green status indicators. When the service has been finished, just mark the item as complete to automatically add it to your vehicle's service history.

4.0 Downloading CauveRaC Checking out the source code from the Cauve. Restore the database in PostgreSQL. Copy the source code in any drive (eg. D :) Then edit the following file:CauveRaC >config> Openbravo.properties

You can create a folder named attachments in any drive and specified it in Line No: 42 in Openbravo.properties file.

Specify the drive (eg. D :) where you copied the source code in Line.No:48 in Openbravo.properties file.

Specify the database name what you given in PostgreSQL in Line. No: 72 in Openbravo.properties file.

After that, you must do the following compile process 1. ant compile.complete.development

After compilation, open command prompt and type tomcat6.exe to start the tomcat server.

Finally in the address bar, type the context URL: http://localhost:8080/CauveRaCAnd type the Username as Admin and Password as admin, then click Login.

5.1 Rental Agreement Use the Rental agreement menu to define and edit information related to Customer, Vehicle Rental Information including Vehicle condition, Driver Rental Information, Pickup Information, Driver Information, Return Information including Actual Return Date and Time, Duration, Amount Information and also the Status of the Rental Agreement.

5.2 Customer Details Use the Customer Details menu to create and edit the Customer Name, Location Address, Phone, Email, and Fax. Handle this menu to maintain the Passport Details including the Passport No, Issued Date, Issued Place, Expiry Date and Visa Details including the Visa No, Expiry Date. In addition to that License Details including the INT No, Issued Place and Issued Date.
