MASS CARDS AND SPIRITUAL BOUQUETS Parishioners are welcome to come to the office to

request a Mass Card or a Spiritual Bouquet. The

Mass Card is a remembrance by which we offer an

announced Mass for the repose of the soul of the

deceased person or for the intentions of the living.

The Spiritual Bouquet is an enrollments in which we

remember the person enrolled at Mass offered every

week for both living and deceased.

Inspiring Hope at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross continues to gain momentum as we reach out to every family to challenge them to a call to steward-ship. By now, all registered parishioners should have received a letter from Fr. O’Leary inviting participation in this campaign. To date, we have had tremendous success! Over $100,000 has been committed from only 40 gifts! This is 30% towards our goal of $350,000. This overwhelming response is the result of the support of generous parishioners like you. This support will:

• Enable parishioners to join their resources to-gether to make a major contribution to the renova-tion of the cathedral Enhance the music program with funds received over our $350,000 goal

We offer a special thank you to parishioners who have assisted to date in this most important pro-ject. If you have not already done so, please give prayerful consideration over this coming week to your level of support for the campaign. Imagine what we can do if all here today make a five-year commitment that is both joyful to give, and meaningful given your own financial circumstanc-es. We hope to have all pledges received by Com-mitment Weekend, May 18th and 19th. Thank you in advance for your generous support.

Congratulations to our Children

Our children received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time, last Sunday. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they prepare for the Sacrament of Eucharist on June 2nd at the 11:30 liturgy. You are welcome to join us in prayer.

Our children were well prepared and happy to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Penance is a desire for change, it is a desire for newness, a desire for life, for growth, it is a desire for being with and to and for. It is a relationship that is besought. It is a togetherness with their God in a new way.
