Many people are unsure of the di�erence between a con and a casket and both play an important role in the memorialisation of a loved one.

A con is a tapered design, narrow at the head and tapered towards the foot. It generally has a fully removable lid and is secured with separate fittings.

A casket is rectangular in shape in a range of designs, usually with a hinged lid.

The Columba casket is a distinguished modern casket. Constructed from unique Tasmanian Blackwood and finished with six bronze coloured wood bar metal handles and accessories, with a satin deluxe lining, it is a fine example of craftsmanship and quality.

The Rhea con is a Tasmanian Blackwood timber con with fluted mouldings and carved ends. The Rhea has a tiered lid with six contemporary brushed antique gold coloured metal handles and six antique gold coloured metal thumbscrews. A contemporary and sophisticated appearance.

The Sentinel casket is a pine construction casket with elegant mouldings. This casket has a hinged lid with silver coloured accessories, finished in a walnut colour gloss.

The Capella con is engineered from MDF with a timber veneer. This con has a tiered lid and is finished with six silver coloured swing bar handles and accessories, satin lining and a Jarrah coloured gloss finish. The Capella is traditional in appearance and style.

The Cedar casket is a richly toned, classical appearance casket. Constructed from Cedar with routed sides and finished with six gold coloured metal and timber swing bar handles and casket clips. The Cedar has a cedar coloured satin finish.

Balmoral

The Balmoral con is engineered from MDF with a sapele coloured paper veneer with a gloss finish. This con has a tiered lid with six silver coloured fixed plastic handles and silver coloured accessories. The Balmoral is finished with a satin lining and decorative mouldings.

The Ain con is an example of a more environmentally friendly farewell. Constructed from eco farmed solid timber and lined with plastic lining and calico. It is completed with six natural rope handles, secured with wooden dowels and oiled with natural oil. The Ain can also be utilised in Jewish services.
