THE POWERFUL ALUMINUM ADVANTAGE.Lightweight and strong, Carver’s intelligent use of aluminum makes an important

longevity difference.

Cabin structural trusses are laminated into each deck/cabin top unit to

integrate the flybridge with the deck—a statement in strength.

Aluminum cabin trusses create a structural grid in the superstructure.

Other manufacturers rely on just the fiberglass or plywood for

strength. Aluminum cabin structural trusses create additional

support for the frameless windows, and eliminate the racking and

water penetration that’s common with framed window systems.

The aluminum flooring system provides an unmistakable advantage

over wood floors, which are prone to creaking and warping.

All exterior, through-bolted hardware and deck fixtures are solidly backed

with full aluminum plates laminated in fiberglass (not washers or wooden

coring) for greater strength, which helps eliminate water penetration—a step

that’s rarely practiced in the industry.

And while other manufacturers produce fiberglass arches that add bulk and are

susceptible to stress and cracking, Carver’s structurally sound electronics arches are

seamlessly constructed of premium-grade aluminum for optimum strength.

WOOD AND WATER DON’T MIX.That’s why the backbone of every sturdy Carver hull is an

all-fiberglass stringer system that is molded as one

piece to exactly fit the shape of the hull. This

stringer unit is then fully laminated to

the hull creating a unitized system that

reduces flexing. Since no wood is used

in the process, deterioration from

water contact is eliminated. Many

competitive processes use plywood stringers

with short strips of fiberglass to attach the stringers to the hull and are far less stable

and prone to rot.

We also create a solid fiberglass bottom further eliminating the water penetration

around through-hull fittings.

NOT ALL FIBERGLASS PRODUCTS ORPROCESSES ARE ALIKE.

All Carver hulls and bottoms are made with Knytex, a superior

crisscross knitted fiberglass that ensures maximum strength,

and less weight. By contrast, fiberglass that’s only woven in

one direction, or isn’t woven closely enough can’t provide

the same strength advantage.

We’ve also elevated the hull-to-deck integration

process. Typically, manufacturers reinforce their hulls to

decks every 4 to 6 inches. But that’s not nearly enough

to ensure a lifetime of strength.

At Carver, our hulls have one continuous fiberglass

structural liner that runs the entire hull circumference.

This provides extra strength in high-stress areas and

creates a more durable seam. It’s a significant measure

that assures your hull’s longevity.

KEEPING UP APPEARANCES HAS NEVER BEEN SO IMPORTANT. To maintain the long-lasting beauty and stability of your investment, we undertake

several time-consuming protection processes.

We sandblast bottoms with glass beads in preparation for painting to assure paint

adherence. This virtually eliminates the “peeling effect” that can occur with unreliable

and inconsistent chemical surface treatments.

Using only high-performance surface gel coatings, we further minimize the likelihood of

blistering, cracking, and crazing.

By also adding a vinylester barrier coat, we create an exceptional blister barrier

between the gel coat and fiberglass.

You’re also assured maximum corrosion-resistance on all metalwork. Stainless-steel rails

and cleats are continuous-welded for increased strength and reliability, while rail

stanchion bases are double-welded inside and out. All exterior welds are ground and

polished to further minimize surface corrosion.

IN-HOUSE, INTEGRATED, AND INDISPUTABLY BETTER.There’s a big difference between assembling a boat and crafting a yacht, and Carver is one of the most

fully integrated builders in the world.

We don’t depend on outside vendors for our construction elements, and we don’t outsource reliability.

Instead, in-house craftsmanship gives us the greatest control of each yacht-building detail.

Each step of every Carver build is performed completely in-house to assure ultimate construction integrity.

Wood, electrical, metal, fiberglass, and upholstery are all handcrafted onsite for tighter quality control.

Carver’s handcraftsmanship is unparalleled in the industry. Wood-finished furnishings, doors, and

cabinetry are meticulously built onsite by skilled woodsmiths.

All upholstered components, drapery and other soft goods, exterior seating, and bolsters are also created in

our own Upholstery Shop. Everything is handpicked, hand-cut, and hand-sewn.

All wiring is measured per boat and hand-cut to the exact specifications of each model—no off-the-shelf

wiring harnesses are ever part of a Carver Yacht. AC and DC electrical panels, gauges, and breakers are all

created and installed right in our facility.

Additionally, harnessed, color-coded wires are individually labeled, and every harness is personally signed

by a technician for accountability.

EXTERIOR The foundation of the 52 Voyager is built upon a proprietary C.A.S.T.™ structural system that begins

as a solid fiberglass hull reinforced with Knytex substrate and treated below the water line with a

vinylester barrier coat for superior protection against the elements. The stringer system is fabricated

as a one piece fiberglass component which is fully bonded to the hull for maximum strength.

HELM

The forward helm provides a fitting platform in which to take control. The tilt wheel and

helm chair are fully adjustable so the captain is comfortable even on the longest passages. Plenty

of space is provided to install a full array of high tech navigation and communication electronics.

And, the 52 Voyager comes equipped with the Carver Docking System™ for maximized precision

abundance of storage cabinets and drawers. The galley and salon are on the same floor level so the host and hostess

EXTERIOR The foundation of the 52 Voyager is built upon a proprietary C.A.S.T.™ structural system that begins

as a solid fiberglass hull reinforced with Knytex substrate and treated below the water line with a

vinylester barrier coat for superior protection against the elements. The stringer system is fabricated

as a one piece fiberglass component which is fully bonded to the hull for maximum strength.

HELM

The forward helm provides a fitting platform in which to take control. The tilt wheel and

helm chair are fully adjustable so the captain is comfortable even on the longest passages. Plenty

of space is provided to install a full array of high tech navigation and communication electronics.

And, the 52 Voyager comes equipped with the Carver Docking System™ for maximized precision

and control while maneuvering and docking in tight quarters.

BRIDGE

The flybridge is built for fun. Take either the cockpit stairs or the interior companionway to the

bridge and relax within the wrap-around dinette. You can lower the dinette table to create a roomy

and comfortable sun lounge.
