Mission: The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering will educate the next generation of diverse and inclusive technological leaders through the dissemination and creation of knowledge and scholarly activity that results in a safe, sustainable and secure society.
Vision: The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering shall be the preeminent institution of higher learning in the education, development and application of innovative technology for the state of Kansas.
Metrics: The following metrics were selected to measure our progress against the vision:
• Diversity and enrollment of B.S./M.S./Ph.D. students• Degree progression and placement of graduates• Research expenditures and creative work• Faculty and staff professional development and advancement• Philanthropic support
