A Personal Action Plan is the process used to set and reach realistic Career Goals.

The First stage in setting your PAP• Identify where you are now, what goals you

want to achieve, how you plan to get there and when.

The Second stage• Re-assessing the situation, setting new goals.

• Set short-term and long-term goals which are realistic and reachable.

• Goals may be as simple as researching a particular career, exploring options and opportunities

• Set tentative timeframes in which to achieve these milestones.
