What a fun and spooky bookfair we had! It was fabulous to see so many children and parents enjoy-ing the fair, especially the young-er children, their big smiles were like they were going into a sweet shop! I hope the children in key stage 2 are enjoy-ing the „Science Pop Bottles‟ and look forward to hearing about your experiments after half-term.
There were 11 lucky winners across the school in our lucky dip competition; awesome book prizes will be making their way to you shortly! A very big Thank you to all the parents for their time and support, it was lovely to speak to so many of you. I’d also like to thank The Bookcase for their hard work and kind donation of books to our school library. Enjoy the half term holiday and keep reading.
Dear Parents / Guardians
It’s always pleas-ing to open up our newsletter with
lots of positive things to cele-brate, instead of talking about traffic and parking issues. This short period has seen the successful launch of our new communication platform called “Digital Campus”. The feed-back so far has been very en-couraging from both parents and staff with several sugges-tions was being made on how to improve it further.
Secondly and despite my initial trepidation, the new single point entry and exit sys-tem is also working well. I can’t thank
you enough for your co-operation and understanding as we all strive to make our school a safer place for all concerned. I’m also delighted to report that our pupil attendance fig-ures have also improved during this new phase in our schools development.
Finally “Think Pink Day”, what a fabulous effort from every-one! As always on days such as
this, your support was amazing. At this stage we have yet to arrive at the final total raised for the
charity, but in many ways the contributions we make was less important than the incredible engagement and on the day. Please look out for the “Think Pink Day” photographs on our social media pages. A special thank you also to Lulu Super-market for their generous do-nation of three computer tab-lets for our “Think Pink Day” raffle prizes and Gelato Ice Cream for the financial contribu-tion for our com-petition prizes. What a great team effort all round!
