Since the early 1990s Total Fuel Systems’s expertise has grown significantly to encompass a wide range of service and maintenance disciplines within the metro-chemical industry. This sustained and controlled growth has seen the company diversify to offer a specialised range of industry related engineering and facilities maintenance services throughout Australia.

We currently operate from premises in Greater Western Sydney. This is complemented by long term partnerships with specialist contractors in North Queensland and Western Australia.

Total Fuel Systems provides a range of services including delivery of new facilities and the optimisation, modification, operation and maintenance of existing equipment. These include (but are not limited to):

Engineering: Concept, design, fabrication, installation, safe operating procedures, 10 yearly Vertical Storage Tank surveys, Pipeline Integrity Management Planning (PIMP).

Programmed Maintenance:- mechanical and electrical plant maintenance to comply with Statutory Regulations for the storage and handling of bulk fuel facilities and Manufacturers Specifications.

Environmental: Environmental Protection Planning, groundwater monitoring and analysis, decommissioning underground tanks, contaminated site investigation, assessment and remediation.

Dangerous Goods Consultants: Site Risk Assessments, storage and handling of all Categories of Dangerous Goods, management plans and site investigations.

Valves, Actuators and Fittings: sales, servicing, repairs and refurbishment of a wide range of fuel accessories through sister company Valvelink Pty Ltd.

Maintenance services: provision of one-off or Planned Maintenance Programmes undertaken by trained and qualified technicians and project co-ordinators.

For over twenty years Petrol ink Engineering has provided Australian Defence with a range of Fuel and Dangerous Goods Storage & Handling services on both a contractor and sub-contractor basis.

Total Fuel Systems has provided design, construct and maintenance services for air force, navy and army fuel facilities - on base and in remote areas and is renowned as a leader in this highly specialised field.

In fact, Total Fuel Systems has been recognised as one of Australian Defence's Top 20 SM Es in the annual ADM industry review for 2015/16. In addition, Total Fuel Systems has been formally recognised as a preferred supplier to Defence with a Letter of Recognised Supplier Status (Lo RS) granted in 2016.

Total Fuel Systems Planned Maintenance for fuel equipment

Planned Maintenance Programmes provide clients with specialist requirements for regular servicing in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and our industry experience for critical equipment. Planned servicing can eliminate or reduce the risk of costly malfunctions, delays and loss of productivity. Typically, a professional Total Fuel Systems technician will undertake a detailed onsite inspection resulting in a comprehensive report on the overall condition of a client's equipment. At the same time we can develop and recommend essential preventative maintenance strategies.

Our specialised Preventative Maintenance Programs are designed to provide premium care of your fuel facility resulting in fuel availability on demand and appropriate planning for equipment rollover.

Our programs ensure that the highest standards are met by providing accountability of wet stock management under the EPA/POEO Act and Regulations (The legal requirement to own and operate equipment in accordance with UPSS Regulations 2008 and WorkCover Codes of Practice and Australian Standards).

Works are undertaken by qualified Mechanical Engineers, Hazardous Areas Specialists, Industry Accredited Technicians and qualified Dangerous Goods Consultants. Every phase of our works is documented utilising a proprietary Computerised Maintenance System matrix to ensure strict Environmental, WH&S and quality standards are adhered to.

Quarterly Activity Reports are submitted to our clients. These reports can be used to assist accountants in planning forward capital costs of

equipment replacement and depreciation.

Our Maintenance Division is supported by a fleet of service vehicles and technicians - available 18 hours a day/seven days a week should the need arise.
