Quick Reference Guide
CANDIDATE RESUME SUBMISSION, INTERVIEW, AND ASSIGN
This Quick Reference Guide walks a hiring manager through the Resume Submission,
Interview, and Assign workflow in Wand. The Candidate Resume Submission, Interview, and
Assign workflow intelligently guides managers in through candidate resume submission, interviews,
and assignment. reviewing, As a result, managers can quickly and easily find the talent they need so
that they can focus on managing their teams and projects.

Upon logging into Wand, managers can view New Talent submissions in
three locations.
First, they will see a Welcome
greeting with a list of Action Items that require attention. These
include Timecards to Review,
Expenses to Review, Change Orders, and New Talent. New
candidate submissions from suppliers appear in the New Talent
card as “New Candidates.”
Second, Staffing Supplier Requests are found underneath Open Requests on the Wand homepage (most
important top five are ranked). Managers can view individual candidates as well as a list of all submissions.
And Third, when the full list of Open Request need to be shown, click blue pending number beside “Open
Requests” Title.

Welcome to the New Candidate Workflow
Viewing New Talent Submissions
Using the new Wand Candidate Resume, Interview, and Assign workflow, managers
can quickly and easily review candidate resumes, schedule interviews, and accept
them for assignment. The highly intuitive, easy-to-use interface guides managers
through the evaluation and interview
process, helping them to pinpoint the talent that best matches their
requirements.

NOTE: Managers and suppliers are able to post messages—which are seen by everyone who touches the request—to the bottom of the Sourcing section.
To review a Candidate Resume
submission from a staffing supplier, a manager has a few options to view.
One way is to click on green “New”
button in the Open Requests card on
the Welcome page, if applicable.
Another way is by clicking on the “View Resume” button on the right side of the
screen. Clicking either of these buttons
will open up the “Candidate Information’s” “Sourcing” tab.
If a manager clicks the “Requests” side
navigation menu, they can also click on
any “View Details” or “View Resume” buttons to the right of each open
Request. Clicking either option will then show the “Candidate Information’s”
“Sourcing” tab. Here you can find
candidates name, skills rating, billable rates, resume/portfolio, when
submitted and their status.
In the “Resume/Portfolio” section, any
candidates applicable uploaded information can be clicked to review.
When a manager clicks on the
candidates name, this allows to view
Supplier comments, Previous Employment, Qualifications, Previous
Experience, Skills Assessment and Interview history.

Managers who find candidates that they wish to schedule interviews with have a few options to do so.
When in the “Candidate Information’s”
“Sourcing” tab section, Managers can click the check mark box on the left of
the candidates name. Then click “Send
Interview Request” button.
If the manager is already in the individual candidates information view,
they can easily click on the “Send
Interview Request” button next to the assign or reject button.
Clicking either option will open the “Schedule
Interview” screen. Though completely configurable,
the Manager can has the ability to schedule the interview with the candidate.
Schedule Interview Sections include:

๏ Summary of Request Information
๏ Interview candidate or if you need to add
additional
๏ Person(s) interviewing candidate(s)
๏ Location of interview (Phone or In-Person)
๏ Specific instructions for candidates (Interview type: one-on-one, panel or
sequential and adding further details)
๏ Scheduling actual date and time of Interview
(multiple time slots can be added)

Interviewing a Candidate
Managers have the ability to add other interviewers,
provide detailed instructions to the candidate, and list multiple possible interview dates/times. Once these
fields are completed (those marked with asterisks are required), the manager hits the “Send Request” button
in the lower right side of the screen. This initiates an
interview request to the candidate(s) for confirmation. The screen refreshes with a message “Your Interview
Request is Successfully Submitted.” and the status for the candidate changes to “Interview Requested.” The
interview is also placed on your calendar when the
supplier accepts
the
interview
request.

The workflow for assigning a candidate is a three-stage process.
First, once a manager decides which candidate to hire, the manager click, Send Interview Request, Assign or
Request buttons. We will focus on the “Assign” button.
Second, a confirmation window then opens for the manager to confirm the requisition start and estimated
end date (“Confirm Dates and Assign” button).
Finally, upon completion, an “Engagement Information” screen appears, confirming the candidate has been
successfully assigned.
