I. Announcements Withdrawal from Courses. The final day to withdraw from a course for the Fall 2010 semester is Friday, October 22! If you feel it is necessary to drop one of your courses, speak to your counselor before this date. With your counselor, you can make an informed decision about the possibility of dropping a course. Second Session Courses. Second Session Courses begin Wednesday, October 20! If you are enrolled in a second session course, make sure you begin attending classes on the appropriate days. Check your schedule for details of meeting times, locations, etc. If you are a study hall participant, please bring a copy of your syllabi for these courses to your counselor as soon as you receive it! CAAS Hours for Fall Break. Sunday, October 17 — Closed — NO TUTORING Monday, October 18 — Closed — NO TUTORING Tuesday, October 19 — 1pm-9pm — Tutoring appointments begin at 5pm! Save Documents to UMDrive. www.umdrive.memphis.edu Log in with your user name and password. In the middle of the page, click the UPLOAD button. Browse the computer for your file. Click OK. Click Upload. Make sure your document is saved properly before you log off the computer. Grade Updates. Please report any grade updates to your counselor as soon as possible.

Important Events and Dates October 7 - Discover Your Major Day @ UC Ballroom 9am—2pm October 15 - Last Day of First Session Classes October 16 to 19 – Fall Break October 20 – Second Session Classes begin October 21 – Last Day to Add Second Session Classes October 22 – Last Day to Drop Classes October 25 - November 5 — Academic Advising Begins Your Athletic Academic Counselor will provide detailed information for preparing for your academic advising appointment, including the day and time of your appointment. Select teams will register prior to this date. BEGIN CLEARING REGISTRATION HOLDS NOW! MAKE CERTAIN HOLDS ARE CLEARED BY Friday, November 5 at the latest. November 8 — Priority Registration for Student-Athletes for Spring Semester

III. SAAC Updates SAAC Meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 17th at 7 pm in AOB Assembly Room Do you have an issue or complaint that you need help resolving? Follow the SAAC Protocol for reporting Issues/Complaints 1. Speak with Coach(es) to resolve the issue. 2. Speak with SAAC Representative and teammates to resolve the issue. 3. Speak with SAAC Advisor to resolve the issue. 4. Enjoy being a Memphis Tiger!!!
