of GTZ - Screened new therapeutic substances for their trypanocidal efficacy.

Monitored drug resistance patterns in trypanosome field isolates. Improved in vitro

culture systems of various species of African animal trypanosomes. Developed an

ELISA for the detection of antibodies to trypanosomes in camels.
