Kam For Sud is a Swiss NGO working in Nepal since 1998 for a sustai-nable development, in the fields of education, health, climate change, post-earthquake reconstruction and fair trade.

Wear With Ease is a fully ethical brand: an apparel and accessories col-lection combining the art, craft and know-how of the Nepalese tradi-tion with western design and fashion trends. A conscious collection, respecting the dignity of the workers and of the environment.

All our components are 100% natural: Yak-wool, cashmere wool, sar-tul-sheep wool, Mongolian camel wool, linen, silk, Himalayan nettle, leather, precious and semi-precious stones, brass, crystal, lokta paper, … all processed in Nepal by experienced artisans, with no damage to the environment.

Wear With Ease is a real social business: the benefits of this collection are reinvested back in Nepal, into the Kam For Sud projects, benefit-ting hundreds of children and people in need.

We are not forced to undergo the superficial commerce, based only on benefit maximization, careless about resources waste, pollution and poverty exploitation. We are free to choose, now, in every moment, what kind of relation we want to establish with others and with our planet.

THE ART AND SPIRIT OF THE HIMALAYAS MEET THE ETHICAL FASHION

Whether you’re walking in the outdoors or shopping in the city, our pullovers, cardigans, beanies, mittens and scarves are there to keep you warm during the fresh and chilly days. Made of Yak, Camel and Sheep wool, sustainably sourced from the highlands of Mongolia, it traps warmth and insulate during fresh and wet weather. Yak wool is in a league of its own for performance, environmental impact, and sustainability. It is warmer, softer and more breathable than any other kind of wool. Camel wool is an extremely soft fiber with a highly luxury touch. Our sartul-sheep wool is of a special quality, with a rare soft cashmere touch.

All our wools are natural by-products, collected from animals that are allowed to roam freely. By using these fibers and paying a fair price, we provide a reliable source of income that helps to alleviate poverty and social disadvantages for Mongolian herders.

The following steps of our supply chain happen in Nepal, where the fiber is transformed by hand spinning into yarn and used for hand knitting or crochet products. Kam For Sud works in Nepal for more than 20 years in humanitarian aid and development cooperation; this ecologic, sustainable collection provides fairly paid jobs for Nepalese women and men.CO

Our jewellery collection is a combination of recycled brass and beautiful, colourful,natural stones; gold plating of the brass offers a precious shine and higher tolerability for the sensitive skins. The energy-jewels incorporate also pure Nepalese crystal from the Ganesh Himal, considered beneficial for those carrying it. Our jewellery is crafted in Patan, the “city of arts” reputed for its very skilled craftsmen.
