Lake Svitiaz,Polissya (Volyn region)

6th placeSvityaz - the deepest and purest lake

in Ukraine. In sunny weather, the bottom can be seen in the 3 meters depth. Svitiaz belongs to groups of Shatsk's lakes, which are located in Polissya (Volyn region), close to the borders with Poland and Belarus.

Askania-Nova,Kherson Oblast

Biosphere Reserve Askania Nova with the area of 11 hectares - is the

unique piece of nature. More than 400 species of herbs and flowers

grow there. In late April, tulips are in blossom, then irises, hyacinths, buttercups. In May - carnations,

daisies.

Lake Synevir,Carpathian Mountains

At the foot of the mountain "lake", at the altitude of 989 meters above sea level you can find Lake Synevir . The area of the lake is 4-5 hectares, the depth is 8-10 m, maximum- 22 m.

There is a fur-tree forest around the Lake. The age of Synevir is about 40-

160 years.

Mountain Hoverla,Carpathian Mountains

Hoverla mountain at 2,061 meters, is the highest mountain in Ukraine and

part of the Carpathian Mountains. The slopes are covered with beech and spruce forests. At the eastern

slope there is the main spring of the Prut river. The name Hoverla has Old Hungarian origin and means “a snow

mountain”.

National Environmental Park « Podilski Tovtry », Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Tovtry - is the local name of the mountain ridge. Its height within the National Natural Park (NNP) reaches 401 meters above the sea level. The ridge rises up to 60-65 meters above

its plains.

Dniester Canyon,Ternopil Oblast

Dniester Canyon — the Dniester River canyon, located at the territory of

Dniester River Valley in Ukraine.Its depth reaches near 50 meters at its maximum. Dniester Canyon is 250 km river segment from the mouth of Zolota Lypa River to

the mouth of Zbruch. Here Dniester flows in a canyon valley with depth 80–200 m.

The canyon nature is original and unique. Dniester Canyon is the most interesting

and the most picturesque area of the Dniester River.
