Leif Ericson was born in Iceland around AD 970, and he was the
second son of Eric The Red. When Leif Ericson was

Nobody actually knows where Leif Ericson actually sailed, they
know he sailed to North America, but they are not 100% sure where
he sailed in North America. Nobody really knows what he died from.
Some believe that he died of cancer, and some believe he died of
old age. ?

Leif Ericson was married to his wife named Thorgunna and had a
child named Thorkel. Returning home, Ericson inherited his fathers
estate, Brattahild, where it is believed he built the first
Christian church in Greenland. Many historians contend that the
voyage was not an accident but a well-planned expedition and that
the Vikings under Ericson were the first Europeans to visit North
