BWAN 2.0 have resilient redundant MPLS connectivity from BSNL and Airtel, 34 mbps at DHQ and 2 mbps upgradable up to 8mbps at BHQ/SDHQ. The internet gateways at 38 DHQs is connected with 10 mbps capacity from Airtel. Video Conferencing Solution for SHQ /DHQ /BHQ / SDHQ with centralized management.

BSWAN 2.0 is a robust network infrastructure established in 1 SHQ at Patna, 38 DHQ and 635 BHQ/SDHQ.

4 L2 Engineers, 6 Helpdesk Executives, 1 Store Manager.

The user can connect the Video Conference by: • Polycom Real Presence Desktop (RPD) • Polycom Real Presence Mobile • Polycom Real Presence Group 500 Series • VoIP Phones (Only Voice for Alcatel 8038)

Download and Install Polycom Real Presence Desktop it can be downloaded from Polycom website or from BSWAN 2.0 Portal, Downloads >> Real Presence Desktop Download

First time Setup on RPD

Select Enterprise and hit Enter

E-mail address else you can click onto Next button as it is not mandatory

Users from local LAN will use 10.76.2.12 as Server IP

Users from Internet will use 59.145.172.62 as Server IP

Enter the User Name and Password provided and then sign-in

Dial the Room ID provided by VC admin and then click on call button

Enter the passcode provided by the VC Admin

Download and Install Polycom Real Presence Mobile

it can be downloaded from Google Play Store

After Installing

Keep the Sign in

with your cloud

login ON and click

Skip sign in

Now dial 59.145.172.62##<Conference ID> in dial pad and then click on call button to connect to video conference ( Conference ID provided by VC admin)

Enter the passcode provided by the VC admin to join the conference

Connect the VC equipment to LED/LCD TV

Please wait until system reboots and then login with your device login credential

Assign the IP address to GS 500 unit locally via Remote by the site engineer. Access the GS(camera) unit over GUI via htpps://IP address of the device. Assign the system Name, Gatekeeper address, H.323 name and E.164/ Alias no. of that site.

Admin > General setting > System Setting

Gatekeeper address, H.323 name and E.164/ Alias no. of that site.

Select Place a call -> Manual dial->enter the Room ID provided by VC admin and then click to call

In the same way CISCO device can also be used for Video Conferencing

Any on going conference can be webcast on the portal upon

request will be seen in real time at BSWAN webcast portal

(http://webcast.bihar.gov.in ) through globe.

Go to BSWAN 2.0 Web portal http://bswan.bihar.gov.in

Go to VC Menu and select VC Booking submenu & click on Book Appointment button.

Enter appointment Details for VC Booking . Note: Email ID should be gov.in or nic.in domain.

After enter all details click on send OTP . you will get two different OTP on your mobile phone & email.

After entering (Mobile OTP/Email OTP) both OTP, you will receive message VC request submitted successfully message on your mobile phone and email

Note :you may check your VC request on VC calendar also(If will highlighted with red

color).

Once VC admin will approve you VC you will receive VC

approval confirmation message on your Email/Mobile. After

confirmation VC booking show on your portal calendar.

color).

BSWAN Helpdesk Contact The Users can contact BSWAN2.0 helpdesk by Dialing the below Toll Free number for any support Dialing the PRI Board Number (Call rate applicable). Dialing from VoIP Writing an e-mail Toll Free Number : 1800 3456 216 The BSWAN Users can dial the above number for any query and support. BSWAN 2.0 IVRS shall guide you to the desired extension. Note: The number can be dialled from Landline and Mobile Phones PRI Board Number : +91 612 2293000 The BSWAN Users can dial the above number from Landline/Mobile Phone to reach the Board Number Directly. The BSWAN 2.0 IVRS shall guide you to desired extension. Note: This Number is Chargeable VoIP: 3008,3009,3010,3011 The BSWAN users can dial from BSWAN 2.0 VoIP Phones and book a complaint.
