CIRCUS
FIREM
EN
Can they survive their artistic differences? Will spandex uni-tards ever be in fashion?
Lords of Strut will thrill you. This is circus like you have never seen it before. In the air, on their backs and with very little clothing, they are the best thing to happen to circus since the invention of the tent! Lords of Strut don’t even need a tent, they perform on the street, they are street.
Lords of Strut are Cian Kinsella and Cormac Mohally, circus performers based in Cork, Ireland.
They are multi-disciplinary performers, experienced in juggling, manipulation, clown, dance, comedy and acrobatics.
Angus and Matilda are The Circus Firemen. These two brothers have been performing together for 10 years and have delighted audiences across Australia and around the world with their high skill circus comedy show.
With acrobatics, juggling and precarious balance they are sure to impress and entertain. It’s firemen-themed circus at its very best!
“Cute, endearing and obviously talented”
– Danu Poyner, Australian Stage “From slapstick and physical comedy to their amazing juggling skills, they certainly brought a smile to everyone’s faces”
– Travis de Jonk, SameSame.com.au

Wannabe gangsters and Italian fashion victims Mia Mine and Mr Vita invite you to enter their bizarre and absurd world…as they welcome you to la familia. A world filled with hairspray, fake gold and snakeskin, the show appeals to audiences of all ages as this odd couple overcome disaster with small and satisfying triumphs.
Hula-hoops, balls and humans are manipulated in ways that were never thought
possible as they are twirled and tossed throughout high-energy routines. The show culminates in true grand finale style with the never seen before, comic delight – the rubber ducky fountain!
Mixing circus with physical comedy and drawing on absurd realities and the repetitive splintering of the fourth, La Cossas Nostra (Kiki and Amelia) aim to create high energy, hilarious and cutting edge acts.

Best described as a show without boundaries, Hilby is living proof that being German doesn’t mean you can’t be funny. An expert in juggling all sorts of objects and subjects as well as having countless circus and variety skills (including unicycling, ropewalking, unsupported ladder, fire manipulations and eating, balancing stunts and the list goes on and on), Hilby really gets his audience involved
and creates magical and hilarious moments through their participation. Watch out for catapults, marshmallows, lots of velcro and the bowling ball of terror.
Poetry in motion… the long and short of it is that you will love this Skinny German Juggle Boy!

Lindsay’s performances showcase her wide variety of skills, which range from acting to physical comedy and juggling.
Her greatest skill of all though, is that rare ability to connect with her audience and bring them the joy and wonder of the present moment.
Lindsay has toured around the world with her one-woman show.
She has been a favourite among Los Angeles comedy clubs including The Ice House, The Comedy Store, and The Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach.
Her success in the comedy scene led to a talent scout inviting her to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

He’s a clown- he’ll do anything to make the audience laugh, but he won’t juggle.
“Stupid, non-sensical, indulgent, pathetic and insulting to the intelligence... I loved it. “

Gold Man
The Gold Man is a comedic mime. He breaks into action unexpectedly and creates funny scenes and crowd interaction with a range of props, gags and mimicry…all of this while coming across as a Golden Victorian gentleman on a podium.
Cowgirl
Sweet and Sassy, the Copper Cowgirl is a human statue with a unique blend of visual performance, comedy and character. Through the use of corporeal mime and clowning, she creates a wild west ballet that focuses on crowd interaction. Friendly, yet trigger happy, she rounds up people of all ages and is a great addition to any event.

Fresh from a world tour Toni Smith returns home to New Zealand with her renowned show - Minnie Maniac.
She has found herself hanging from a tight rope 46 metres above Worcester Boulevard, travelling with a circus and being woken in the middle of the night by lions and elephants, performing on the red carpet for the King Kong premier and playing a half woman/half ape in
the BBC production ‘The Lost World’. Minnie wants to be a cheerleader but when she puts on her outfit, her super-confident alter ego Minnie Maniac takes over and creates a riot! Watch as she whips the audience into a frenzy during a hula hoop twirling routine with a surprise finale which will leave you wondering where that girl gets all that energy.
