    2. Learning Goals of MBA-ITB

    In General, The MBA-ITB slearning goal is to develop students to have the follo!ingcharacteristics :

    A "trong competence in business and technology-based management as !ell as decisionma#ing capabilities as demonstrated by business leaders in the !orld$

    An ethical leadership and professional mindset An entrepreneurial spirit both as professionals and as entrepreneurs$ Ability to ma#e decisions based on human values in a systemmatic and integrated

    manner so as to meet the needs of the community$

    Business 'conomics or Managerial 'conomics is concerned !ith the application of economic principles and methodologies to the decision ma#ing process of the business firm operatingunder conditions of ris# and uncertainty$

    The course establishes important principles for business practice$ Business practice is recogni(edand incorporated into the discipline of Managerial 'conomics$ The course is concerned about thefirm s competitive strategy, rather than simply costs and revenues$ The course !ill put into theconte)t of real-!orld business decision problems, to demonstrate methods of identifying

    problems and finding solutions$

    The goal of this course is to develop students ability to e)plain !hy economic events happen the!ay they do, and ho! firms and individuals can successfully react to events$ To accomplish thisgoal, !e !ill !or# to!ard mastery of several economic principles that govern most economic

    The main goal of this course is to apply the tools of economic theory to address a series of %uestions that the managers faced$ 0sing the time-tested economic theory, this course !ille)plore the 1real !orld2 applications$
