UIC Barcelona facilitates meetings between our students and leading companies from various sectors that are looking for students to do work placements or employees for junior positions. Participating companies:

Business Day

The Faculty organises a Business Day every year, an event that promotes the development of the soft personal, social and professional skills of our students, through real challenges provided by companies which students must deal with in teams. During the competition students learn and put into practice leadership skills, cooperative work, communication creativity and innovation skills.

B-Excellent Programme

This programme prepares students for positionsof responsibility and business leadership. It provides a profound and immediate overview of professional reality. Sessions are taught by teachers from internationally prestigious business schools.

The programme incorporates various methodologies and includes a discussion of real cases with consultants, executives senior executives and offers visits to companies.

You will also have an opportunity to participate in the Consulting Competition with students in different years. The programme director will supervise the projects. Project conclusions will be presented in public, and before a panel of experts so they can be assessed.

Work placement agreements

Professional development and young people joining the labour market is a priority at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at UIC Barcelona.

The professional work placement programme is something different for our students, it allows them to complement the knowledge and skills they acquired in the classroom with Real professional experience. We offer guidance, training, tutorials and individual advice for each student, to ensure the success of this highly enriching experience. Apart from being educational, it can also lead to jobs for students. We hold more than 450 agreements with prestigious companies and institutions in different fields and we offer opportunities for work experience both at a national and an international level over a full semester.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration aims

to train business professionals and entrepreneurs who

are committed to society. It combines the most rigorous

theoretical knowledge with a practical focus in order to

train professionals who are able to resolve problems.

Double Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration +

Industrial and Production Engineering offers a

multidisciplinary overview of the sector which will

prepare you for any challenge. Our proposal

incorporates two points of view: an international focus

and a cross-cutting and eminently practical approach.

The study programme for this double degree

programme combines learning about business, as well

as industrial production systems. This multidisciplinary

approach is possible because the studies are organised

in conjunction with the Polytechnic University of

Turin: part of the programme is taught in Barcelona and

the other in Turin.

Also, you will be able to enjoy a period of six months of

work experience in companies in both countries.

The international nature of this double degree is also

demonstrated through the opportunity to take the

majority of ADE subjects in English, if you enrol on the

UIC Barcelona English programme.

This UIC Barcelona programme is adapted to the current

context in order to offer a simultaneous double degree

with an international and practical approach.

A comprehensive response to today’s social and

economic challenges. Spread over five years, it will

allow you to simultaneously undertake two degree

programmes which have compatible timetables.

Once you have completed fourth year, you will have

earned your first official qualification in Business

Administration (ADE) and at the end of 5th year you will

This technical business training and a critical view of the

world. Double Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and

Business Administration (ADE) at UIC Barcelona

provides specific knowledge of the business world, and

at the same time strong analytical skills and intellectual

openness. The double degree provides depth and

knowledge in the field of humanities which complement

business knowledge. The learning is optimal in order to

face the challenges derived from the new trends in

organisation and management in a world that is

becoming more globalised. The double degree is

With this five-year programme, UIC Barcelona gives you

the opportunity to study a Bachelor’s Degree in Business

Administration and complement it with a Bachelor’s

Degree in Economics at the prestigious Birkbeck,

University of London. You will study a Bachelor of

Science (BSc) in Economics at one of the institutions

comprising the prestigious University of London.

This programme, taught on campuses in two major

European cities (Barcelona and London), will give you an

international profile that will help you stand out from

the crowd. Your studies in Business Administration at

UIC Barcelona will be complemented by subjects on

economic analysis in London.

As part of this international double degree programme,

you will study for three and a half years at UIC Barcelona

and then attend Birkbeck, University of London for the

UIC Barcelona offers you the opportunity to take a

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (ADE) and

complements it with a BSc degree in Marketing from

Birkbeck - University of London. You can take a BSc in

Marketing at one of the most prestigious institutions

since it forms part of the renowned University of London.

The education received on the campuses of two of the

most important European cities (Barcelona and London)

will allow you to acquire an international profile which

will help you stand out.

This international double degree programme has a

duration of five years. You will study at UIC Barcelona for

three and a half years. Afterwards you will take the

Student Services
