from educa(onal psychologists to support the emo(onal development of children and young people in school. ELSAs
have regular professional supervision from educa(onal psychologists to help them in their work. ELSAs help children
and young people learn to understand their emo(ons and respect the feelings of those around them. They provide
the (me and space for pupils to think about their personal circumstances and how they manage them. Both Emma
and Tracy will spend (me with children in school, suppor(ng their emo(onal needs to ensure that they are able to
learn effec(vely in class. This Pastoral support will ensure all our children achieve at school. The ELSA training has
specific training on ‘Self-Esteem’, ‘Anger Management’, ‘Social Skills’, ‘Friendship Skills’, ‘Therapeu(c Stories’,
‘Bereavement and Loss’ and ‘Separa(on and Divorce’. You may find that if your child is involved with the ELSA they
may have some targets to help them learn new skills or coping strategies. Parents will be involved as part of the pro-
cess. The children will work with both Tracy and Emma during the school day, we will ensure parents are kept fully
informed.
Both Mr Gallagher and Mrs Carmichael are available if you’d like to discuss any aspect of the ELSA programme fur-

Parking Please can we ask that all parents and carers be mindful of careful driving outside the school
gates and also remind everyone that the lay-by (by the car park) is for dropping off only in the
mornings. If you need to park please can you move further down the road. School Lane needs
to be kept free of school traffic, it's one of our 'Safe' crossing points for the children.
Help keep our children safe, please use the entrance to Green Farm to turn around. Those
parents that perform U-turns outside the school risk hiPng our children.
