Christ is the endof the law. Through him, justice comesto everyone
who believes. Moses writesof the justice that comes from the
law,The one who observes the law shalllive by it. But of the
justice thatcomes from faith he says, Do not sayin your heart, 'Who
shall go up intoheaven?' (that is, to bring Christdown), or 'Who
shall go down into theabyss?' (that is, to bring Christ upfrom the
dead). What is it he doessay? The word is near you, on yourlips and
in your heart (that is, theword of faith which we preach). For

herd ofswine was feeding. The demons keptappealing to him, If you

At thatthey came forth and entered theswine. The whole herd went
rushingdown the bluff into the sea and weredrowned. The swineherds
took to theirheels, and upon their arrival in thetown related
everything that hadhappened, including the story aboutthe two
possessed men. The upshotwas that the entire town came out tomeet
Jesus. When they caught sight ofhim, they begged him to leave
theirneighborhood. Then he reentered theboat, made the crossing,
and cameback to his own town.
