    Peace is in categories:

    1. No peace.

    2. Ordinary peace.

    3. Great peace.

    4. All-round peace.

    5. Peace like a river.

    6. Peace of God that passes all understanding.

Our God is a God of peace (Hebrews 13:20). Our

LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ is called The Prince of

Peace (Isaiah 9:6). When He was born on earth and

the angels gathered to announce His birth, they

sang, "Peace on earth." In John 14:27, Jesus said,

"My peace I leave with you." This tells you that you

can have everything but if you don't have the Prince

of Peace, you won't know the meaning of peace.

When you give your life to Jesus Christ that is when

    peace steps in.

    Great Peace

Psalm 119:165 says they that love the law of the

LORD, great peace have they and nothing shall

offend them. In Isaiah 54:13, the Almighty God said

because you will teach your children the way of the

LORD, then great peace shall be given unto them.

For example in Genesis 18:17-19, the Almighty God

said, "Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which

I do; seeing that Abraham shall surely become a

great and mighty nation, and all the nations of

the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him,

that he will command his children and his

household after him, and they shall keep the way

of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the

Bible Text: Philippians 4:4-7 LORD may bring upon Abraham that which He

hath spoken of him." This is what Abraham did

and it will explain the kind of peace that Isaac had

in Genesis 22:1-18. Isaac knew that his father

needed something for the sacrifice. Even when

his father laid him on the altar to be sacrificed,

even though he could outrun his father because

his father was old, Isaac had total and great peace

that only children that have been brought up in

the way of the LORD can ever have.

    Multiplied Peace (Daniel 4:1, Daniel 6:25, 1

    Peter 1:2, 2 Peter 1:2)

If you already have peace, I pray today that your

peace will be multiplied. Whatever may be the

level of your peace, may it be multiplied in Jesus

    name!

    All-Round Peace

This could be Peace Physical as seen in Exodus

15:26 which made it clear that you can be

completely free of every disease, because the

LORD will be your Physician. Peace Material as

explained in Psalm 92:12-15 says that the

righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, as he

would not have to worry about anything, because

God shall supply all his needs according to His

riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

There is also 'Spiritual Peace' as seen in Mark 5:2-

    20. The Bible tells us in 1 Kings 4:24 that Solomon

had all-round peace. When you talk about all-

round peace, look for somebody called Solomon,

as he experienced all-round peace, because God

    loved him.

    Peace Like A River

God said in Isaiah 48:18, "O that thou hadst

hearkened to my commandments! Then had

thy peace been as a river, and thy

righteousness as the waves of the sea." In

Isaiah 66:12-13, God said peace like a river is the

kind of peace that a baby has. It is the kind of

peace that Paul and Silas had when they were

thrown into prison and they knew death could

be coming the next day, but they were singing

praises to God (Acts 16:16-34). Why do you have

this kind of peace? You would have it because

you have heard from God (Acts 16:9-10). It is

good to be able to hear from God. I decree to

you that the ear that can hear God, the Almighty

will give it to you in Jesus name. Because once

you can hear God, it doesn't matter what is

going on around you, you will be at peace.

When you have heard from God, you can enjoy

the kind of peace that the Bible calls peace like a

    river.

The Peace Of God That Passes All

    Understanding

You cannot explain this kind of peace. Usually,

this kind of peace is based on past experiences

    (Acts 12:5-11, Acts 5:17-25, Revelation 3:7-8). If

you have experienced this God and He has taken

you through storms, then you can have the

peace of God that passes all understanding.

In conclusion, in Isaiah 48:22 God said it loud

and clear that there is no peace for the wicked. If

you are not one of His children and you are

praying for peace, He already said it, "There is

no peace for the wicked." However, if you give

your life to Christ, He will give you peace

(Mathew 11:28-30), and as you obey Him, your

peace will become great peace. As you follow

Him and do His will, your peace will become

multiplied; and before you know it, you will have

all-round peace; and you will enjoy peace like a

river; and very soon, you will have peace that

passes all understanding. If you have not yet

given your life to Jesus Christ, I encourage you to

do so now, because when you do so, you will

taste and see that the LORD is good and you

don't have to worry about anything at all.

RCCG. CITY OF DAVID. SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 20204

  • Excerpts of PASTOR IDOWU ILUYOMADE's Online Bible Study on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

    contd. on page 7

RCCG. CITY OF DAVID. SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 20206

salm 91:3 says “Surely He shall deliver

Pthee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.” The word 'Surely' implies confidence, guarantee, certainty, assurance, without any hesitation, any iota doubt and unquestionable. Hence,

the word 'Surely' in this Scripture reemphasises the

certainty of God's fidelity to His Word. Sometimes, you

get a better understanding of a word by looking at the

opposite. The opposite of the word 'Surely' is

    doubtful, uncertain, unsure, hesitant, unreliable,

unsteady, variable, irregular, shaky, suspicious and

vacillating. Therefore, if you don't trust God to deliver

you, it means you doubt Him. To doubt means you are

suspicious of God and you think He is unsteady and

unreliable. When you doubt God, it shows that you

don't know Him, therefore, you cannot trust Him. If

you don't know Him, let your heart cry be like that of

Paul in Philippians 3:10 which reads “That I may know

Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the

fellowship of His sufferings, Being made

conformable unto His death.” This lockdown is an

opportunity for you to study and know God. James 4:8

says “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to

you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify

your hearts, ye double minded.” I pray that as you

thirst and hunger for God, He will reveal Himself unto

    you in Jesus Name!

    Dangers of Doubting God

There are dangers of doubting God. Doubting God

can be an impediment from receiving anything from

Him. James 1:6-7 says “But let him ask in faith,

nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a

wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

For let not that man think that he shall receive

anything of the LORD.” Not trusting God can lead to

calamity. If you don't trust God, you are prone to

attacks of the devil. God can rebuke you if you don't

trust Him as Jesus Christ rebuked His disciples for their

unbelief (Mark 16:14). The Jews couldn't enter into the

rest of God because of their unbelief (Hebrews 3:19).

There's a danger of going to hell if you don't trust God.

Revelation 21:8 says “But the fearful, and

unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,

and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,

and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which

burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the

second death.” It's instructive that this Scripture

    mentions 'unbelieving' not unbelievers. The

Bible Text: Psalm 91:3 'unbelieving' are Christians who choose to doubt

    God. When God's children don't trust Him, there's a

likelihood to fall into the traps and snare set by the

    enemy.

    Why you should Trust God

    1. Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man

that He should lie; neither the son of

man that He should repent: hath He

said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He

spoken, and shall He not make it good?”

    However, some people place their

confidence in men who can disappoint

    them.

    2. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says “For all the

promises of God in Him are yea, and in

Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”

Put your trust in God and in His Word and

    promises, they are unshakeable forever.

    3. God is faithful means He is reliable and

    dependable. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 [AMP]

says “Faithful is He Who is calling you to

Himself and utterly trustworthy, and He

will also do it fulfill His call by hallowing

    and keeping you.”

    4. God can never forget you. Your issues are

written in His palms and they are always

    continuously before Him (Isaiah 49:15-16).

    5. Once He sends His Word, it must

accomplish what He pleases. Isaiah 55:11

says “So shall My word be that goeth

forth out of my mouth: it shall not

return unto Me void, but it shall

accomplish that which I please, and it

shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent

    it.”

    6. We are a part of the body of Christ and

when we are afflicted He is afflicted too

    (Ephesians 5:29).

    7. God magnifies His Word above His name

    (Psalm 138:2).

    8. The Word of God is active and full of power

    (Hebrews 4:12 [AMP]).

    9. Based on other people's testimonies and

experiences, you need to trust God.

    10. God is a covenant keeping God and He

cannot break His covenant (Genesis 15:9-

    20).

What is the Snare of the Fowler?

A snare is a trap, an evil hidden plan, a conspiracy,

setup, an enticement, a device that is secretly or

strategically setup to capture a targeted subject.

It's like an unseen landmine that catches up a prey

suddenly. We should understand as Christians, we

are all soldiers and there's a constant battle over

our lives by the kingdom of darkness and his

agents. Ephesians 6:12 says “For we wrestle not

against flesh and blood, but against

    principalities, against powers, against the

rulers of the darkness of this world, against

spiritual wickedness in high places.” This why 1

Peter 5:8 says “Be sober, be vigilant; because

your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,

walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

You need to clearly understand that these are

perilous times because Satan knows that his time

is up and hell has enlarged its mouth to

    accommodate more people (Revelation 12:12).

Satan daily accuses us before God but He has not

given us as a prey to him. Per chance you are

already trapped, I decree that every snare of the

fowler is broken and you are escaped (Psalm 124).

A modern day fowler is not obvious. Satan is

strategic. In time past Satan is depicted with an

ugly image but in present times, he can be

disguised as money, fame, disobedience, etc.

When Satan is operating he disguises himself. In

Scriptures, he disguised as a serpent, lion, an angel

of light and ministers of righteousness (2

Corinthians 11:14-15). I pray that God will open

your eyes to discern the fowler in Jesus Name!

    What is a Bait?

The most effective traps have baits. A bait is an

allurement and temptation which is usually very

attractive. It is used to draw the attention of the

subject into the trap. It is an invitation to sin but

you have a choice to accept it or not. For instance,

if you are given an invitation card to attend a

striptease party, you have a choice to either attend

or turn it down. The enemy wants to enslave you

forever that's why he wants to trap you (Isaiah

14:17). If you are in any form of entrapment, God

will set you free in Jesus Name (Isaiah 49:25-26). It

is important to note there are different kinds of

baits for different preys – different strokes for

different folks. For instance, if you want to catch a

monkey, you bait it with a banana but you cannot

use a banana to bait a mouse neither is it likely that

you can use cheese to lure a Nigerian mouse. A

piece of fried fish would do a better job. What

attracts Mr. A may not attract Mr. B. Satan usually

uses your weak points or waits for when your

guard is down. Satan stalks his targets to wear

them out (Daniel 7:25). As he studies your habits,

and weaknesses, you must also study his ways to

be able to avert some of his strategies (2

Corinthians 2:11). Before you go into a battle, you

must have a strategic plan. David with all his

wisdom was slain by a woman. Samson with all his

strength was turned into a piece of bread by

Delilah. Solomon had 700 wives and 300

concubines and they turned his heart away from

God. However, when Potiphar's wife stalked

Joseph, he ran away. Satan spent a considerable

time to stalk Job before he spoke to God about His

hedge around Job. You need to be strategic; don't

be ignorant of the devil's plans. You need to

understand and know your enemy. Satan uses the

right bait for the target he wants. Business analysis

DELIVERANCE FROM THE SNARE OF THE FOWLER

encourages management of organisations to identify

the strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities and

threats (SWOT). The purpose of every bait is to

tempt you thus we need to define temptation.

    Temptation

Temptation is an invitation to sin. It is an enticement,

an inducement, an appeal, an attraction, a seduction,

and it is an invitation or suggestion to entertain wrong

desires. It presents to you with an opportunity to

possibly sin. At a party, when a well perfumed lady

walks strategically close to you (than what you

consider normal) and chooses to sit next to you, leans

on you while laughing, it could be an invitation, and a

    suggestion to sin.

You can be tempted but temptation is not a sin. You

have a choice to yield or resist it. Remember that a

temptation is just an invitation (James 1:13-15),

ANYBODY can be tempted. God does not tempt us

though He allows us to be tempted sometimes. There

is always a way of escape, but you always have a

choice. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (AMP) says “For no

temptation no trial regarded as enticing to sin, no

matter how it comes or where it leads has

overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not

common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has

come to you that is beyond human resistance and

that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to

human experience, and such as man can bear.

But God is faithful to His Word and to His

compassionate nature, and He [can be trusted

not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed

beyond your ability and strength of resistance

and power to endure, but with the temptation

He will always also provide the way out the

means of escape to a landing place, that you

may be capable and strong and powerful to

bear up under it patiently.” Most of the time,

Satan uses your weakness as an entry point - the

Achilles heel. For some people it could be:

excessive spending. A loan can be a bait for

someone that lives beyond his/her means. If you

are hot tempered or aggressive, it can be harmful.

Excessive anger can land you in trouble. For

instance, you can slap someone and the person

dies and it lands you in a jail. Anger was the bait

Satan used to bait Moses to speak unadvisedly and

he couldn't enter the Promised Land. Satan can use

lies, envy, covetousness, and greed, lust of the eyes

and flesh and pride of life as an entry point to bait

you. At this time that you are indoors, don't over

eat. Excessive eating is a snare. It is dangerous to

eat too much without exercising. This can lead to

diabetes or sickness. This period is not for eating

alone, it's time for prayers, meditation and exercise.

You need to put on the whole armour of God to

withstand Satan when he comes (Ephesians 6:11-

    18).

Finally, Satan is on the prowl for souls of men to kill

and destroy, it takes the grace of God to withstand

Him. The Bible says, if the righteous are barely

saved, how much more someone who has not

surrendered his/her life to Jesus Christ. Satan is

smart and his baits are strategic and hidden; only

God can give you the spirit of discernment to

recognise his baits. Jesus has paid the premium

with His blood but you must surrender your life to

Him to come under His covering. Therefore, if you

are willing to repent of your sins and surrender

your life to Jesus Christ, then pray this prayer right

now: LORD Jesus, I come to You right now. I

know I am a sinner, please forgive me my sins.

With my mouth, I confess that Jesus Christ is the

LORD and He died for my sins. Change my heart

from a heart of stone to a heart of flesh and fill

me with Your Holy Spirit. I plead the Blood of

Jesus to cleanse me of every sin I have

committed, write my name in the Book of Life,

and make me brand new in Jesus Mighty Name.

RCCG. CITY OF DAVID. SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 20206

salm 91:3 says “Surely He shall deliver

Pthee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.” The word 'Surely' implies confidence, guarantee, certainty, assurance, without any hesitation, any iota doubt and unquestionable. Hence,

the word 'Surely' in this Scripture reemphasises the

certainty of God's fidelity to His Word. Sometimes, you

get a better understanding of a word by looking at the

opposite. The opposite of the word 'Surely' is

    doubtful, uncertain, unsure, hesitant, unreliable,

unsteady, variable, irregular, shaky, suspicious and

vacillating. Therefore, if you don't trust God to deliver

you, it means you doubt Him. To doubt means you are

suspicious of God and you think He is unsteady and

unreliable. When you doubt God, it shows that you

don't know Him, therefore, you cannot trust Him. If

you don't know Him, let your heart cry be like that of

Paul in Philippians 3:10 which reads “That I may know

Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the

fellowship of His sufferings, Being made

conformable unto His death.” This lockdown is an

opportunity for you to study and know God. James 4:8

says “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to

you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify

your hearts, ye double minded.” I pray that as you

thirst and hunger for God, He will reveal Himself unto

    you in Jesus Name!

    Dangers of Doubting God

There are dangers of doubting God. Doubting God

can be an impediment from receiving anything from

Him. James 1:6-7 says “But let him ask in faith,

nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a

wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

For let not that man think that he shall receive

anything of the LORD.” Not trusting God can lead to

calamity. If you don't trust God, you are prone to

attacks of the devil. God can rebuke you if you don't

trust Him as Jesus Christ rebuked His disciples for their

unbelief (Mark 16:14). The Jews couldn't enter into the

rest of God because of their unbelief (Hebrews 3:19).

There's a danger of going to hell if you don't trust God.

Revelation 21:8 says “But the fearful, and

unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,

and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,

and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which

burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the

second death.” It's instructive that this Scripture

    mentions 'unbelieving' not unbelievers. The

Bible Text: Psalm 91:3 'unbelieving' are Christians who choose to doubt

    God. When God's children don't trust Him, there's a

likelihood to fall into the traps and snare set by the

    enemy.

    Why you should Trust God

    1. Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man

that He should lie; neither the son of

man that He should repent: hath He

said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He

spoken, and shall He not make it good?”

    However, some people place their

confidence in men who can disappoint

    them.

    2. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says “For all the

promises of God in Him are yea, and in

Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”

Put your trust in God and in His Word and

    promises, they are unshakeable forever.

    3. God is faithful means He is reliable and

    dependable. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 [AMP]

says “Faithful is He Who is calling you to

Himself and utterly trustworthy, and He

will also do it fulfill His call by hallowing

    and keeping you.”

    4. God can never forget you. Your issues are

written in His palms and they are always

    continuously before Him (Isaiah 49:15-16).

    5. Once He sends His Word, it must

accomplish what He pleases. Isaiah 55:11

says “So shall My word be that goeth

forth out of my mouth: it shall not

return unto Me void, but it shall

accomplish that which I please, and it

shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent

    it.”

    6. We are a part of the body of Christ and

when we are afflicted He is afflicted too

    (Ephesians 5:29).

    7. God magnifies His Word above His name

    (Psalm 138:2).

    8. The Word of God is active and full of power

    (Hebrews 4:12 [AMP]).

    9. Based on other people's testimonies and

experiences, you need to trust God.

    10. God is a covenant keeping God and He

cannot break His covenant (Genesis 15:9-

    20).

What is the Snare of the Fowler?

A snare is a trap, an evil hidden plan, a conspiracy,

setup, an enticement, a device that is secretly or

strategically setup to capture a targeted subject.

It's like an unseen landmine that catches up a prey

suddenly. We should understand as Christians, we

are all soldiers and there's a constant battle over

our lives by the kingdom of darkness and his

agents. Ephesians 6:12 says “For we wrestle not

against flesh and blood, but against

    principalities, against powers, against the

rulers of the darkness of this world, against

spiritual wickedness in high places.” This why 1

Peter 5:8 says “Be sober, be vigilant; because

your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,

walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

You need to clearly understand that these are

perilous times because Satan knows that his time

is up and hell has enlarged its mouth to

    accommodate more people (Revelation 12:12).

Satan daily accuses us before God but He has not

given us as a prey to him. Per chance you are

already trapped, I decree that every snare of the

fowler is broken and you are escaped (Psalm 124).

A modern day fowler is not obvious. Satan is

strategic. In time past Satan is depicted with an

ugly image but in present times, he can be

disguised as money, fame, disobedience, etc.

When Satan is operating he disguises himself. In

Scriptures, he disguised as a serpent, lion, an angel

of light and ministers of righteousness (2

Corinthians 11:14-15). I pray that God will open

your eyes to discern the fowler in Jesus Name!

    What is a Bait?

The most effective traps have baits. A bait is an

allurement and temptation which is usually very

attractive. It is used to draw the attention of the

subject into the trap. It is an invitation to sin but

you have a choice to accept it or not. For instance,

if you are given an invitation card to attend a

striptease party, you have a choice to either attend

or turn it down. The enemy wants to enslave you

forever that's why he wants to trap you (Isaiah

14:17). If you are in any form of entrapment, God

will set you free in Jesus Name (Isaiah 49:25-26). It

is important to note there are different kinds of

baits for different preys – different strokes for

different folks. For instance, if you want to catch a

monkey, you bait it with a banana but you cannot

use a banana to bait a mouse neither is it likely that

you can use cheese to lure a Nigerian mouse. A

piece of fried fish would do a better job. What

attracts Mr. A may not attract Mr. B. Satan usually

uses your weak points or waits for when your

guard is down. Satan stalks his targets to wear

them out (Daniel 7:25). As he studies your habits,

and weaknesses, you must also study his ways to

be able to avert some of his strategies (2

Delilah. Solomon had 700 wives and 300

concubines and they turned his heart away from

abakkuk is a short long-forgotten book in

Hthe Bible but the prophecies are very present with today's Christians. Habakkuk was one of the smaller prophets because he did not prophesy for too long yet what he prophesied was profound, deep and intense. Habakkuk

saw a burden from a year gone by and he was disturbed.

The Israelites and the Jews were continuously being

destroyed and he did not see a hope of a better tomorrow.

Habakkuk as a prophet wasn't afraid to question God.

Seeing so much destruction coming to the LORD's chosen,

he asked God how the wicked seem to be enjoying and

getting away with everything and the believer internally

frustrated, Habakkuk asked “O LORD, how long shall I

cry, and thou wilt not hear! Even cry out unto thee of

violence, and thou wilt not save! Why dost thou shew

me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? For

spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that

raise up strife and contention. Therefore, the law is

slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the

wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore,

wrong judgment proceedeth” (Habakkuk 1:1-4), and the

answer Habakkuk received from God added to his anxiety.

It is curious to note that God did not say there will be a

    deliverance instantly.

God says, “...For I will work a work in your days, which

ye will not believe, though it be told you. For, lo, I raise

up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which

shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess

the dwelling places that are not theirs...” (Habakkuk 1:5-

6). The LORD said He will raise some enemies to plunder

them. The Chaldeans would be sent to invade Judah and

punish her for her sins. How could the LORD use such a

nation, less righteous than Judah, to punish her? But

Habakkuk says “I WILL STAND UPON MY WATCH, AND

SET ME UPON THE TOWER, AND WILL WATCH TO SEE

WHAT HE WILL SAY UNTO ME, AND WHAT I SHALL

ANSWER WHEN I AM REPROVED” (Habakkuk 2:1). To

'Stand his Watch' means Habakkuk will keep praying

and trusting God. Likewise, you must stand watch while

in pain, affliction, poverty, shame, distrust, broken

relationships or the enemy tries to plunder you.

Habakkuk saying “I shall answer when I am

corrected” shows that there's a likelihood that we've

been grumbling, unhappy and done things which we

    ought not to do.

Similarly, do you sometimes feel like Habakkuk? There's

a lot of pain inside of you as you turn into a New Year

but you have been taught to wear a gait and say the

right words as a Christian. YOU MUST STAND YOUR

WATCH TO SEE WHAT GOD WILL SAY TO YOU.

There's a collective anointing and there's an individual

anointing. It is only when one candle lights another that

    we have huge testimonies.

    Write the Vision

The LORD specifically said to Habakkuk “Write the

    vision, and make it

plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”

(Habakkuk 2:2). You may wonder, why did God ask him

to write the vision? It is recorded that when the children

of Israel crossed the Red Sea, they were like them that

dream. Possibly because they may have forgotten their

suffering or gotten used to it such that when their

deliverance came, it was like a dream to them.

A vision is an image, a dream, an idea or plan. These are

plan of having children, plan of walking on the seashore

with your husband and picking pebbles; plan of giving

your child an education; plan of feeding yourself quietly

in your home, plan of attending church joyously not out

    of necessity.

Also, a vision is the experience of seeing something that

other people cannot see. A vision is the ability to see

clearly with your eyes. Only you can see this vision.

What do you see in 2020? How long have you dwelt on

that mountain? How long have you prayed for healing?

How long have you prayed for prosperity? What do you

want God to do? Write the vision down. A vision is

everything you can see. It is seeing your children

married and given in marriage; it is seeing your table

surrounded by children and great- grandchildren; it is

seeing happiness in your home; it is seeing a thriving,

loving and trusting marriage; it is seeing healing, etc.

Also, vision is the ability to have the power to see. A

vision is an act and a power of your imagination. As

Christians, we don't say 'I imagine;' we foresee or have a

vision. A vision is that thought or concept of your

imagination. It is your spiritual awakening or alertness.

Wake up from your sleep and stand on your watch.

Ephesians 5:14 says “...Awake thou that sleepest...”

You cannot sleep on your problem without making any

effort to do something about it. Philippians 4:6 says

“Be anxious for nothing, but IN EVERYTHING BY

    PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION, with thanksgiving,

let your requests be made known to God.” A

Christian cannot sleep; the Bible admonishes us to pray

without ceasing. Indeed, you must be praying in your

tears and sighs. Proverbs 24:33-34 says “A little sleep, a

little slumber, a little folding of hands to rest and

poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like

an armed man.” You cannot believe God for something

and sleep, if you don't pray hard enough, it will not come

to pass. Habakkuk stood in the Secret Place of prayer and

fasting knowing that God is true. God spoke that He will

deal with His people but Habakkuk still chose to stand. A

Christian cannot sleep; you must be praying. If you

believe your vision enough, sooner or later, it will come

to pass. Even dreamers keep dreaming and birthing their

vision over and over again until it materializes. Proverbs

29:18 says “Where there is no vision, the people

perish...” There's a vision for every season of your life. As

you grow older, the world becomes small. The problems

of yesterday are not the problems of today. The tools to

achieve your vision changes with seasons. You must write

a vision for every season of your life. The young child of

yesterday is the adult or wife or mother of today. A vision

is seeing the end from the beginning. The vision is for an

    appointed time.

Vision is the work of the Holy Spirit. If you are filled with

the power of the Holy Ghost, you will speak in tongues

and you will see more clearly. The HolySpirit will lead you

in the path that you should go to. When Jesus was

leaving, He says "I have not left you comfortless but I

have given you the Holy Spirit to lead you into all

    truths" (John 14:26).

Make it Plain and Run With It!

In 1852, William Booth saw the vision of reforming the

slums in London and he abandoned the traditional

church, walking the streets to preach to the poor,

homeless, hungry, and destitute. His works led to the

    establishment of the Salvation Army.

Your vision must constantly appear to you. Paint the

picture of your great tomorrow. The 'Table' is your Bible, a

notepad or paper. However, as a Christian, it is advisable

to write your vision in your Bible. It is imperative to note

that when the Holy Spirit gives you a vision, you must run

with it (Habakkuk 2:2). Take flight and run with your vision

in 2020. When the Holy Spirit gives you a vision, He

empowers you. Write the vision of exceeding greatness

and run with it collectively. You must stand on the watch

and continue to pray until the vision is birthed. Be careful

not to jump process to avoid aborted dreams.

Oh! How true is the saying, 'What you see is what you

get?' What is the strong impression on your being?

What is God telling you? Nobody has the privilege of a

good life; it belongs to everyone. Haven't you heard

testimonies of people who lived in abject poverty but

rose to sit on the intellectual world stage? Write your

vision of a preferred future; it is not too late. 2020 is the

long- awaited year; it's going to be a beautiful year. The

LORD determined that it will be a New Year and that it is

what it will be for you. The LORD will take away your

pains, frustrations, sighs and burdens in Jesus Name.

abakkuk is a short long-forgotten book in
