A NEW WAY TO BUILD WITH ADK MODULRAUM

We create special buildings in a unique way. We have specialized in designing functional buildings in a way that ensures manageable costs, a short building time and sustainability. From an architectural point of view, we aim to not only meet the needs and requirements of time and our customers, but to inspire.

ADK Modulraum builds hospitals, hotels, educational buildings like schools or childcare centres, adminis-tration buildings or special buildings such as clean rooms for industrial research and production.

Our principle is to plan and build in modules at a central location. The individual rooms are prefabricated and transported to where you need them, where we then assemble them to form the finished building.

We have been putting our principle into practice successfully for over a decade. All this at attractive set prices and with binding delivery times.

We, our staff and three managing directors are proud of this. For us, sustainability also means passing on our knowledge and experience to the next generation. This is why we are committed to training the experts of the future.

ADK's modular buildings allow you to plan and design your structures as freely as you wish. Your plans are only limited by structural physics. Our modular buildings are not planned according to a fi xed grid. From 60 m2 to 18,000 m2, from one fl oor to seven, everything is possible with ADK modules, even oblique angles and round structures.

We share the mission statement of the German Society for Sustainable Construction: "Efficiency means making better use of the available materials. It is linked to both technical considerations and systemic solutions. Sufficiency aims to strike the right balance by limiting wasteful use of resources and raising awareness of environmental and resource issues in society. Consistency describes the transition to sustainable technologies, of thinking and acting in cycles."

Our commitment to sustainable construction is reflected not only in our construction methods, but also in our choice of materials and building technology. We value environmental protection and energy efficiency:

In recent years, regulations on energy consumption have become much stricter, such as the amended Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV 2014) which came into force in Germany last year. More is being required of buildings in terms of energy efficiency. The ADK modules allow you to meet these new requirements easily.

New energy efficiency regulations coming into force around the world require new buildings to meet higher standards. Permitted values for overall energy efficiency are being lowered, in some cases by up to 25%. From 2021, all new buildings will be subject to the EU low-energy building standard. The guide values for this are due to be published by the end of 2018.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES AND NEW ENERGY EFFICIENCY CLASSES

In future, energy-related data will no longer be displayed on a scale of green to red, but allocated to one of nine efficiency classes. In a similar way to how electrical and domestic appliances are assessed, the scale ranges from A+ (low energy consumption) to H (high energy consumption).

This allows us to always offer you customised solutions, even for a conversion or extension.

ABOUT US

If required, we can provide the complete, fully furnished building to lease or rent. Keeping an eye on your needs and requirements, this works using a simple principle: "pay as you earn". In this system, the proceeds from leasing go towards paying off the investment costs. This avoids the need for preliminary financing. The liquidity you gain as a result can be used for other projects, or even to boost returns else-where. The lease payments are spread manageably across the duration of the building's service life, and therefore across the period during which the building generates returns. By removing the need for preliminary financing, you can avoid excessive financial burdens.

The usage fee can be altered flexibly across the entire period. It is important for us that rental and leasing conditions are determined right from the start, but are also transparent, clear and fair for all involved. We focus on planning security, flexibility and liquidity. ADK Leasing can also help finance the building. Simple, secure and transparent – we'll find the right solution for your building.

OPERATING THEATRES, HOSPITALS AND CLINICS

Whether constructing new buildings or expanding existing ones, it is crucial in the healthcare sector that the structure is available as fast as possible, while still meeting all quality benchmarks and standards. With construction time reduced by at least 50%, we can prefabricate everything that is required, from a single operating theatre to an accident and emergency ward. Modules and fittings are installed and tested according to national and international guidelines such as the DIN, GMP and FDA. The building work has no impact on the existing hygiene standards. Excessive construction noise is also avoided with ADK modules.

LNG – THE ENERGY SUPPLY OF THE FUTURE

USE OF NATURAL GAS IN MODULAR CONSTRUCTIONWITHOUT GAS GRID CONNECTION

Liquefi ed natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that is cooled to a liquid state at approx. -162°C. With fossil fuels becoming more expensive, LNG is becoming an increasingly attractive alternative energy source. As the volume of LNG is 600 times smaller than that of natural gas in gaseous form, it can be transported at relatively low cost on tankers across the oceans.

After it is extracted, the gas is liquefi ed before transportation. Once it arrives at ports like Hamburg, Rotterdam or Zeebrugge, the LNG is transported via truck, train or boat directly to the customer.
