Career Ladder Grant: Secondary Schools Job Description: Professional Learning Community Leaders Qualifications:

Certified staff currently working in a CRCSD secondary school. At least 3 years of experience in the CRCSD

Responsibilities:

Develop processes and provide leadership for implementation of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) in District middle/high schools.

Participate in PLC leadership meetings at the building and district level during and outside (with other compensation) the contract day/year.

Provide support for the implementation of Professional Learning Communities. Facilitate PLC meetings at the middle/high school level. Implement best practices for Professional Learning Communities. Collect data and provide feedback on the implementation of PLCs. Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of formative

assessments. Provide student achievement data for Student Learning Expectations. Complete an evaluation focusing on systemic improvement, consistency of

implementation and employee satisfaction. Compensation: $1,000.00 plus stipend for training and per diem for facilitation. Term: October 21, 2008 to June 30, 2009
