In 2016, Hospitality Mints celebrates 40 years in business. As a company built on hard work, determination and innovation, we are extremely proud of our accomplishments.

Since 1976 a legacy of quality and perfection has flourished in a family business, which is now known as Hospitality Mints. Mitchell Minges started a candy making business in Boone, North Carolina.

Driven by the passion to succeed, Mitchell started his candy-making business using copper kettles and marble slabs. His unique skills for manufacturing soft mints developed while working a summer job with a husband and wife team in Rockingham, North Carolina. In addition to creating delicious mints, he introduced the idea of individually wrapped pieces of candy with an imprinted logo and/or special message. The idea was wildly successful and the business thrived.

Forty years later, Hospitality Mints is the largest supplier of custom mints in the USA. We manufacture over one billion mints every year in our facility in Boone, North Carolina, employing 150 individuals. Our products are sold across all channels including restaurant chains, grocery stores and specialty retailers.

Hospitality Mints signature offering is our buttermints, which are creamy and laced with the finest peppermint oil. In addition, we offer hard candies such as peppermint, cinnamon, spearmint, and others. Because we have the unique ability to individually wrap our product with personalized logos and marketing messages, we are innovative and valuable to customers worldwide.

Hospitality Mints is led by Pat Viancourt (President/CEO) and a management team with deep experience in the food industry. And our commitment to existing and future customers remains constant with what it was 40 years ago…a commitment to delivering the highest quality custom mints with exceptional customer service!
