Features: The Upompe range of pumps complied fully to the international standard DIN 24255. This standard covers both performance and dimensions. This pump included the back pull-out design, and when a suitable spacer coupling is fitted to direct coupled unit, the casing and motor can remain in position while all other pump parts can be removed for simple and quick maintenance. The volute is fitting with a replaceable wearing and has a suction vane to give smooth flow into double shrouded hydraulically balanced impeller. Only four shaft assemblies are required to cover the total range, and this gives many common interchangeable parts for pumps fitted to the same shaft. Standard pump is fitted wit ha packed stuffing box incorporating a lantern ring which included internal flushing by the liquids being pumped, or can be converted to external flushing, and all of these pumps can be fitted with a mechanical seal. Pumps can be supplied as a bare shaft unit or in many other arrangements, including complete with coupling, guard, base plate and either electric motor or engine.

Shaft: - Stainless steel 420, optional SS 316 Flow: 2 to 1100 m3/hr Head: up to 150m Speed: 1450 and 2950 rpm, 50Hz 1750 and 3450 rpm, 60Hz Temperature: -10 C to +105 C, optional 150 C on special request Casing pressure: 10 bar as standard and 16 bar upon request.
Heat Dissipation Arrangements (HDA), patented.
1. Reduce torque heat generated during shaft rotating within bearing housing (confine space) 2. Elevated bearing temperature will destroy the ability of the grease to lubricate the ball bearing. With HDA, bearing life span will be improved. 3. Reduce pump maintenance and downtime. 4. No additional wiring or add-in power needed for this HDA.

Heat Dissipations Arrangement (HDA) test parameter: Pump type: End Suction Model: UA 4016 Installed power: 3hp Speed: 2900 rpm Room Temperature: 32 C. Water temperature: 28 C Starting bearing temperature: 31 C Bearing temperature after 50 minutes: 41 C Increase of temperature: 10 C Operating bearing temperature by added in functioning of HDA after 50 minutes: 38 C Reduction of bearing operating temperature: 41-38 = 3 degree C Summery result: By installing HDA, bearing temperature was reduced by 7.9% for this small 3hp pump-set. HDA result will be better for bigger pump-set, which can up to 10% improvement.
HDA in-house test was perform for UA 4016 with 3hp motor.
