OVERVIEWThe purpose of the Capstone Project is to demonstrate the

proponents’ competence in investigating a research topic and

reporting the findings with full documentation, and complete

tabular presentation in a manner that can be understood by both

an individual knowledgeable in the topic, and an individual

whose advanced training is in another discipline.

Modern life offers a lot of option of services and goods for

consumers. Thus, compared to a decade ago, it can be seen that

people’s epenses are dramatically increasing day by day. !s

such, the task of keeping track of one’s ependitures has

become essential in setting up a proper budget for days to

The portability, relatively low0power usage, and wireless

where people couldn’t even dream of using a computer or

    connecting to the outside world.

1ith the help of this new technology, the proponents would be

creating an application that can alleviate the daily nuisance of

taking down one’s daily epenses, and budgeting a person’s

This Capstone Project created an application where the users

can track the inflow and outflow of money on hand and on

bank, which also includes debit or credit. This application can

help the user in planning their budget within the desired span of

    time.

&t can help them in monitoring their money in all aspects. This

application can help users in planning how much budget to

allocate in a certain category of epenses. The purpose of this

application is to help the users in organi?ing their real0time cashflow. &t can also help the user to budget their money properly

    1.! ReA'rements &ocmentat'on1.3.1 (ethods of Research

    Dant'tat')e 0ethods

Euantitative methods emphasi?e on objective measurements

and numerical analysis of data collected through polls,

3uestionnaires or surveys. Euantitative research focuses on

gathering numerical data and generali?ing it across groups of

     people.

This type of research methods re3uires 3uantifiable data

involving numerical and statistical eplanations. Euantitative

esearch is used to 3uantify the problem by way of

generating numerical data or data that can be transformed into

useable statistics. &t is used to 3uantify attitudes, opinions,

behaviors, and other defined variables D and generali?e results

from a larger sample population. Euantitative esearch uses

measurable data to formulate facts and uncover patterns in

research. Euantitative data collection methods are much more

structured than Eualitative data collection methods.

Euantitative data collection methods include various forms of

surveys D online surveys, paper surveys, mobile surveys andkiosk surveys, face0to0face interviews, telephone interviews,

longitudinal studies, website interceptors, online polls, and

    systematic observations.

    +r)ey Research 0ethod

The proponents’ used the %urvey esearch Method.

!ccording to 'demy, %urvey research uses interviews,

3uestionnaires, and sampling polls to get a sense of behavior

with intense precision. &t allows researchers to judge behavior

and then present the findings in an accurate way. This is

usually epressed in a percentage. %urvey research can be

conducted around one group specifically or used to compare

several groups. 1hen conducting survey research it is

important that the people 3uestioned are sampled at random. This allows for more accurate findings across a greater

    spectrum of respondents Nla?ema, 456;/.

    Pr%os')e +am%l'ng

The proponents’ used the Purposive %ampling to pick the

respondent for 3uestionnaires. !ccording to Nosch, purposive

sampling represents a group of different non0probability

sampling techni3ues. !lso known as judgmental, selective or

subjective sampling, purposive sampling relies on the

judgement of the researcher when it comes to selecting the

units e.g., people, cases2organisations, events, pieces of data/

that are to be studied. 'sually, the sample being investigated

is 3uite small, especially when compared with probabilitysampling techni3ues. Nosch, 456

    1. Im%lementat'on PlanThe proponents’ published the application on Cherry Play

store in order for it be available to those android users who

are having difficulties saving money, monitoring their

epenses or any related issues about budgeting their money.

1.C Im%lementat'on ResltThe epected result of the implementation is to help the user

to save money or to help him or her about the idea of planning. (pected result like savings should also be present

after a month using the proposed application. The proponents

epect that with this proposed application, the users can be

able to succeed in budgeting, gain savings and share his or her

    eperiences to others.

    (. +mmary4 #oncls'on and

    Recommendat'ons

This chapter covers the different aspect of the study

specifically about the findings of the survey, summary and

    recommendations.

    ! +mmary

1ith the fastest growing economy in the Philippines many

#ilipinos suffers from budgeting their own money and daily

epenses. &ncome is erratic and inconsistent. *ne month you

may be feasting. !nother month later, you are eperiencing

famine. &t becomes even more stressful if the income you are

epecting does not come on timeL or worse, it does not come

    at all.

That is why mastering the art and science of budgeting is

more important for self0employed individuals than it is for

employees. 'nlike the latter who can plot their budgets since

they receive more or less the same amount every month at

given periods usually 6;th and 75th/, the self0employed doesnot have that luury.

The proponents developed the application called "udget
