1. Welcome by Sergio Ascunce, Building Official – City of Hallandale Beach2. Recap of previous October 29, 2013 subcommittee meeting

a. Uniform permit application consensus achievedb. Subcommittee recommendation that property owner always sign the permit

applicationc. Forward recommendations to BORA subcommittee to consider countywide adoption

through Chapter 1. Uniform permit application can be accepted in all municipalities as an alternate and that property owner sign the application

3. Discussed naming conventions for uploaded plans into the Cloud System. a. Researched national standards developed by AIAb. Reviewed available ePermit guides developed by BOAF and the City of Pompano

Beachc. Discussed goals in developing file naming convention; allow use of national standard

and impose minimal modification to design professional’s file named. Subcommittee discussed the format used by the City of Pompano Beach where the

design professional’s file name is augmented by adding a three digit number in front.e. Subcommittee concluded that the three digit number in front of design professional’s

file name was suitable.4. Discussed the reference number generated by the Cloud server as a uniform alias number

in the agencies systems.a. Discuss what the reference number format would be.b. Need IT subcommittee assistance with determining how to integrate with agency

systems.c. Subcommittee recommended using a three letter City name, two digit year and 6

digit sequential countywide application number. (i.e. FTL-14-000001)5. Began discussion on a uniform permit revision application

a. Identified the need to submit revisions after the initial permit issuanceb. Create a uniform application for collecting revision informationc. Discussed who should sign the application, if anyoned. Additional review and discussion to follow
