Introduction to VTScada

Designed for the water / wastewater industry, VTScada HMI

software© is all-in-one SCADA central for telemetry applications

of any size. VTScada communicates with most PLCs and RTUs and replaces master PLC devices with a built-in polling driver.

With a single installation, VTScada also replaces third-party add-ons with integrated features like security, reporting, historian, alarm management, dialer and Internet clients. In seconds, confi-gure any number of synced redundant servers with hot backup. For 25 years, Trihedral has built their business by providing supe-rior technical support to their customers.

Retentive Totalizer & Counter Tags

These tags provide important information for performing preventative maintenance, creating operating & usage reports or recognizing pat-terns and anomalies in your system.

The counter tag allows you to count process events

The totalizer tag records the sum of a process variable’s value

Values are retentive and remain in memory when the HMI is restarted.

They can also be regularly logged to the historical database.

Networked Electronic Operator’s Logbook

VTScada provides an encrypted, networked logbook for users to create time-stamped entries and print summaries as necessary.

The entire log is saved to an encrypted file that cannot be edited.

Notes are networked and can be viewed by users with appropriate security privileges.
