Job Description Job title Senior HR Business Partner Team HR Band 4 Reporting to HR Managing Director Management responsibility HR Advisor and Resourcing Purpose of the job Senior HR Business Partner will have responsibility for Generalist HR support across SULCo and BBB teams to ensure the HR strategy is implemented and the business plan and initiatives are supported. This role will also oversee the Resourcing function to ensure that the process delivers high performing teams and highlights business risks as the business grows and changes. The Senior HR BP will demonstrate internal best practice and influence behaviour that challenges change and facilitates consultations whilst adapting to the pace and process of change. Main duties Ensure resourcing and retention strategy are prioritised stay in line with EVP for BBB as it grows. Provide coaching and feedback to colleagues to support behavioural change and the business plan Follow the talent strategy and ensure it is used as a living tool to deploy resource appropriately Support the MD in succession planning and identify implement those that require retention strategies Update HR policies and process to ensure compliance with best practice. Seek opportunities to challenge and influence leaders to ensure pro-active performance management becomes part of the BBB culture Support colleagues with action plans and interventions to maintain high levels of engagement – assessed by the full survey and pulse checks. Develop the HR team to actively upskill their expertise and perform cohesively as a team. Look for opportunity to add value to the HR function Oversee organisation design to support a flexible infrastructure for BBB Active participant of the HR team and BBB as a whole. Provide skilled HR advice and guidance to support the business strategy but also challenge ideas and thinking. Deputise for HR MD when appropriate Knowledge and experience Generalist experience at a senior Business Partner level and specialist experience in another HR discipline is desirable Experience of leading HR workstreams in change programmes across different business areas. Evidence of implementing new policies, processes, programmes and design of new business areas as a solution Broad development in generalist HR and confident knowledge regarding employment and remuneration legislation Ability to articulate the links between HR as a business support and People strategy and business strategy Sound remuneration and analytical skills Ability to analyse and bring external perspective to problem solving in HR and the business Practical understanding of project management processes. Experience in working in a regulated environment or has had to be conscious of the business risk appetite and work with it accordingly.
