Volunteering with St Mungo’s in Bristol

What next? You can apply online via www.mungos.org – follow the links to volunteering.

You’ll be asked to come in for an informal chat.

You can also come to our regular volunteer drop in on the first Thursday of the month at our New Street Centre, 1 New Street, BS2 9DX between 10 – 12pm.

Volunteering makes a real difference to people’s lives.

The services we offer rely on volunteers to support the work and it means we can reach more people and do more.

Volunteering at the night shelters means that people don’t need to sleep rough – they can have a safe, warm place to stay.

Running groups as part of our recovery college means we can share our skills and support people to lead meaningful lives.

Why volunteer? You’ll get supervision, training and support to help you in your volunteering.

We’ll support you to reach your goals – maybe you want to gain more confidence, learn new skills or get into work in this sector.

We can pay travel expenses and lunch for the days you volunteer.

We welcome and encourage applications from those with lived experience of homelessness, addiction and mental health issues. Get in contact to find out more.
