Women’s Project Theater, under the leadership of newly-appointed Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty, is pleased to present the World Premiere of BRIGHT HALF LIFE – a kaleidoscopic new play about love, skydiving and the infinite moments that make a life together. LISA MCNULTY (Producing Artistic Director)Lisa is in her first season as Producing ArtisticDirector of Women’s Project Theater. Lisa comesto WP from Manhattan Theatre Club, where sheserved as Artistic Line Producer for eightseasons, working on more than 30 productionsboth on and off Broadway, including plays by LynnNottage, Sarah Treem, Harvey Fierstein, andTarell Alvin McCraney, among many, many others.Lisa has a long history with WP Theater. She wasoriginally hired by the company’s founder, JuliaMiles, as the Literary Manager from 1997-2000,

where she dramaturged work by María IreneFornés, Julie Hébert, and Karen Hartman, amongothers. Her independent producingcareer includes projects with Sarah Ruhl,Todd Almond, and Lucy Thurber, all at 13P.Lisa has also served as the ProducingAssociate at the McCarter Theatre, acting asLine Producer on McCarter’s mainstage, aswell as developing McCarter’s commissionedshort series.

MAUREEN MOYNIHAN (Managing Director)Maureen started her career in Chicago workingfor the Steppenwolf Theatre Company andcommercial producer Fox Theatricals. Prior tojoining WP Theater, Maureen spent over adecade working for Blue Man Productions inseveral positions including serving as theirExecutive Director for five North AmericanProductions. Since moving to New York, shehas worked for several nonprofit andcommercial organizations including ManhattanNew Music Project, York Theatre Company andthe new immersive theatrical experience Queenof the Night.

Eve Ensler, María Irene Fornés, KatoriHall, Pam MacKinnon, Lynn Nottage and LeighSilverman, among many, many others, allfound early artistic homes here.
