TRAINING IN TODAY’S SECURITY ENVIRONMENT FOR POLICE CPMF AND SECURITY GUARDS
• Beat constable: needs to motivated, trained and empowered.•Pvt Security Guards: All security guards need to be trained ,regulated, integrated with Police and graded.•Training to be practical, imaginative, role oriented and as per tactical requirement.•Specialized trainers and state of art training equipment should be provided.•Emergency response measures:Training should cover all contingencies-Medical, Natural, Security
SOME TRAINING ASPECTS FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
• Concepts of basic life support.– Chest Compressions
– Artificial Respiration.
• Management of severe bleeding.– Anti clot bandage.
– Pressure points.
• Management of bullet or Blast injury.
• Management of Burns, Fractures, heat stroke, choking or snake bite.

PRIVATE SECURITY AGENCIES ACT 2005 AND CENTRAL RULES 2006
• Security guards will be trained for a minimum 100 hrs of classroom instruction and 60 hrs of field training spread over 20 working days.
• Ex-servicemen and Former police personnel will be required to train 40 hrs classroom and 16 hrs field over 7 working days.
• Total of 17 subjects will be taught.• Physical fitness standards specified.
