Brief December 11, 2014 T o: UF College of Denstry, I really enjoyed this posive post that someone shared on their personal Facebook page aſter their friend/family member received care in our St. Pete dental center. She tagged our college in the post, which is what drew our aenon to it. The dental center in St. Pete was the second “satellite” dental center the college opened; the first was in Jacksonville. The St. Pete center opened in downtown St. Petersburg in 1991 and had a focus on taking care of the dental needs of low-income, elderly paents. The center moved to it’s current locaon on the Seminole campus of St. Petersburg College in October 2005. The center houses an Advanced Educaon in General Denstry program and, last year, completed 10,273 paent visits. They have two full-me and three part-me faculty (plus a large group of courtesy faculty from the community), 12 residents and 17 staff members. The center is currently preparing for an accreditaon visit on February 17, 2015. Sincerely, Boyd Robinson, D.D.S., M.Ed. Interim Dean UF College of Denstry

To: UF College of Dentistry,

I really enjoyed this positive post that someone shared on their personal Facebook page after their friend/family member received care in our St. Pete dental center. She tagged our college in the post, which is what drew our attention to it.

The dental center in St. Pete was the second “satellite”

dental center the college opened; the first was in Jacksonville. The St. Pete center opened in downtown St. Petersburg in 1991 and had a focus on taking care of the dental needs of low-income, elderly patients.

The center moved to it’s current location on the Seminole campus of St. Petersburg College in October 2005. The center houses an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and, last year, completed 10,273 patient visits. They have two full-time and three part-time faculty (plus a large group of courtesy faculty from the community), 12 residents and 17 staff members.

The center is currently preparing for an accreditation visit on February 17, 2015.
