Grow was a design studio graduating projectlooking at how growing food in a dense urban setting could achieve both aesthetic and economical goals.
in recent years there has been a steadily increasing awareness over food production and quality.
With the population of Australia and the rest of the world growing rapidly there is a demand and necessity for more locally grown and organic food.

grow 1.2The commercial district stretches over 350 metres. The site has been designed to maximise the growth of produce in the precinct while being an interesting and comfortable space to be in for workers in the surrounding commercial buildings.
The vegetables chosen are a combination of high value crops (75%) and low value crops (25%) with three different crops perbed with vegetables cycling according to what grows best in season.
This allows vegetables to be sold year round and to generate the most profit.
