Developer Admin Guide October 2016 Overview 1-1

O v e r v i e w

This enhancement allows you to request and view branded fares in Air Shopping using a selection of parameters.

A b o u t T h i s G u i d e

Using this guide, review your internal processes, scripts, screen-scrapers, third-party software, and structured data elements. Revisions to this document may be needed in the future. In such cases, Sabre will notify you if any revisions become available. You should be ready to update your applications to the new changes if revisions are made. This guide is not inclusive of all possible scenarios; thus, not every change is reflected in this document, but the major changes are included.

This guide provides information on the Display Branded Fares feature. Each chapter is as follows:

• Chapter 1, “Introduction” explains the purpose of the document, details critical information, and provides a functional overview and a description of the changes to the system.

• Chapter 2, “Low Fare Search (JR) Entries and Responses” explains JR entries and responses for branded fares.

• Chapter 3, “Low Fare Search (WPNI) Entries and Responses” explains WPNI entries and responses for branded fares.

• Chapter 4, “Sabre Dev Studio Air Shopping APIs” explains the API requests and responses for branded fares.

• Chapter 5, “Sabre Red Workspace Brand Attributes Display and Comparison Chart” explains how you will access branded fares from JR and WPNI responses.

A s s u m p t i o n s

The branded fares appear in the Low Fare Search response using the following assumptions for Sabre® Red™ Workspace (classic view):

• A new indicator, BR(#)-(#), will appear at the beginning of each fare result where brands are applicable.

• An informational message will appear to display the brand details for a given fare result.

• A new sell entry to select the fare/brand from a Low Fare Search JR response is: JR05-BRxx.

• A new sell entry to select the fare/brand from a Low Fare Search WPNI response is: WC‡19-BRxx.

1-2 Introduction Developer Admin Guide October 2016

• A new follow-up entry to display brand details from a Low Fare Search JR response is: JR*5BRx or JR*5BRALLx. The entry to display brand details (JR*5BRxx) and sell entry (JR‡5-BRxx) includes xx because it is possible to return more than nine branded fare options. For one to nine options, you can include or omit the leading zero, and either work correctly (such as JR*5BR1 and JR*05BR01). The entry to display brand details (JR*5BRALL) will return brand details for all brand options.

• A new follow-up entry to display brand details from a Low Fare Search WPNI response is: WC*5BRx or WC*5BRALL. The entry to display brand details (WC*5BRxx) includes xx because it is possible to return more than nine branded fare options. For one to nine options, you can include or omit the leading zero, and either work correctly (such as, WC*5BR1 and WC*05BR01). The entry to display brand details (WC*5BRALL) will return brand details for all brand options.

• A new entry,# BRALL, will search for multiple brands for carriers who file branded fares.

• The new #BRALL qualifier is combinable with Shopping search qualifiers except Multiple Fares per Itinerary.

• The brand code will be displayed for the entire itinerary.

• When the same brand is used for multiple segments, the brand code will be repeated.

• When no brand applies on one or more segments, the response will show NOBRAND.
