Located off Verner Street, the complex provides a playground for children, basketball court and skateboard park. Graham Field provides space for football, soccer, softball, and baseball or other large outdoor events. It is located adjacent to the Armstrong Trail and the Riverfront Park. The wild and scenic Allegheny River makes a giant loop around East Brady. This beautiful part of the river has steep sided wooded banks and provides boating opportunities for motor boats as well as kayaks and canoes. Anglers, boaters and water-skiers enjoy the waterway. A variety of wildlife including a growing number of Bald Eagles make their home here. A large public dock and ramp is located in Brady’s Bend. Located off Waterway Lane, the park offers kayak access to the Allegheny River, a large pavilion, tables for picnicking and a beautiful view of the Allegheny River. Located 5 miles east of East Brady, the overlook provides a spectacular 1,500 foot panoramic view of the bend in the Allegheny River. In the fall, the view is especially beautiful. Bring your camera! Located just off the Sergeant Carl F. Curan Bridge at 218 Seybertown Rd., this public launch provides access to the Allegheny River for water activities including motor boating, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, fishing and more. Cross country skiing is possible on designated sections. The trail is for non-motorized use only. While linking the towns of East Brady, Kittanning and Ford City, the trail connects populated areas to the natural sights and sounds of the Allegheny River Valley. The trail is located along the eastern bank of the river. Currently 36 miles of relatively flat compressed surface is ready to ride! The Armstrong Trail connects to the 51- mile Redbank Valley Trail just 5 miles from the trailhead in East Brady. The Armstrong Trail is critical link in the approximately 300 mile Erie to Pittsburgh Trail now under development. ST.
