Spring Cleaning — Beyond Cobwebs & Dusting

For many people spring evokes the need

to air out your rooms, super-clean everything

from carpet to ceiling and start fresh! But the

best spring cleaning may include more than

just a thorough mopping and throwing open

the windows. Think of spring as the time to

re-evaluate and organize your health, well-

being and safety needs as well as your wants

and dreams.

Organize Your Health,

Well-Being and Safety:

Check-in with your health goals. Do a health

check in with your doctor, nurses, caregivers or

family members. If it has been a while since

you’ve gotten a physical or reevaluated your

health goals, now is a great time to do so!

Schedule an appointment with your physician

today!

Locate & organize important health & legal

documents. Is the monthly bill paying process

too burdensome? Visit your bank and ask to

be set up with automatic bill pay. Do your chil-

dren/personal representatives have access to

your financial holdings should there be an

emergency? Where did your passport ‘run off’

to, and does it need to be renewed for the big

trip still in your future?

Tidy Up Your Wants & Dreams:

Check-in with your life goals. Spring is a great

time to take stock of where you are in the jour-

ney of life. It is never too late to plan and

dream. What have you always wanted to do?

Make plans now! Include a budget, steps to

success and a timeline to complete your

project. Then get out and grab your dream!

Happy Spring (Cleaning) Everyone!

Resident Highlight

This month’s resident highlight features a

snapshot of many of our new residents.

Since the beginning of the year a number

of new residents now reside at Bozeman

Lodge. With so many new residents I

thought maybe I would share a little

about them here. I haven’t had the op-

portunity to get to know all of the new

residents but here is what I have learned

so far. I encourage you to introduce your-

self and get to know them a little better.

Welcome to Bozeman Lodge!

Tom Olson was born in Glendive, MT and

was a district judge in Bozeman for a

number of years. He is also a big Cleve-

land Indians fan.

Jackie Morasko went to school in Lead,

South Dakota and moved to Bozeman

several years ago. She has 8 children,

16 grandchildren and is expecting her

23rd

great grandchild in May!

Carol and Bob Barbee lived at a variety

of National Parks where Bob was the di-

rector and settled in Bozeman upon re-

tirement.

Bill and Naomi Wiley moved here from

Billings but also lived in Northern Califor-

nia. Bill was in the Navy during the Kore-

an War and worked as a meat cutter for

47 years. He met Naomi at a church

camp and were married 7 months later.

Naomi worked for a school district for 27

years. The have two children, 4 grand-

children and one great grandchild.

Jim and Kay Moore were cattle ranchers

in Two Dot, Montana. Jim also worked as

an attorney and is an author of some

great historical fiction books.

Norm and Kathryn Dusenberry lived in

many places before landing in Bozeman.

and lived in Stanford, Forsyth, Great

Falls, and Bozeman, all in Montana, as

well as Los Angeles, San Francisco,

Washington DC, and Atlanta.

sylvania and New Jersey, but have also
