The Journey BeginsWe thank you for your patience. Its been a
little all hands on deck crafting Bowlus Road Chiefs up to now.
Blessed with an outstanding team, were now able to carve out a
little consistent time that we can dedicate to the Bowlus Road
Chief Monthly Newsletter. Well do our best to deliver an efficient
and riveting update (sorry we couldnt
help ourselves) on where weve been, what were thinking and where
were heading. Most of all were looking forward to hearing from you.
Without your support and encouragement this wouldnt have been a
fraction of the fun that it has been. We genuinely thank you and

Road to Oshkosh July 20-26, 2015
Are you attending EAAs huge Airventure in Oshkosh, WI July 20
26th? We are too! It is the biggest fly-in, making it the busiest
airport in the world that week, with over 500,000 in attendance.
Youll find us in booth 172 in the Main Aircraft Display. Wed love
to see you there, and if you bring your Road Chief you can camp
with us on the field. What fun!

Chief home office in Oxnard, California late this week and then
returning via the Bay area so we can show at the Carmel-By-The-Sea
Concours August 11th during the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance

Were honored to call Garrett and his father, Brad Bowlus
,friends. Theyre Hawleys great-grandson and grandson. Our
friendship started with a simple phone call when we needed some
fabulous wine for a gift. Obviously we couldnt just have any old
wine, so we gave Albatross Ridge a call. We visited their cozy
tasting room in Carmel-By-The-Sea and picked up a custom case of
their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Their vineyard, Bowlus Estates,
produces memorable wines off the same ridges of the Carmel Valley
that Hawley Bowlus launched his notable Albatross sailplanes.
The vineyard is graced with a phenomenal microclimate that
includes high elevation, extreme rocky soil and a breathtaking
seven-mile view to the Pacific Ocean. This perfect place along with
their organic and sustainable methods mark their wine as truly
amazing.
We were delighted to spend the July 4th weekend shooting a video
and enjoying the vineyard with a lovely couple that recently picked
up their Bowlus Road Chief. It was truly a special, special
weekend. Thank you Garrett & Brad! Were excited we make such a
perfect pairing with Albatross Ridge.
