The 2018 CBA All-Star Week-end will be held over the weekend in Longgang District, with young actor Li Yifeng and rapper Gai as celebrity guests.

On Saturday night, two Chinese University Basketball Association (CUBA) teams, Tsinghua University and Peking University, will go head-to-head. On Sunday night, a match between the Southern Division and the Northern Divi-sion of the CBA will be held. Yi Jianlian, from the Guangdong Dongguan Bank, is said to be on the South Division lineup. Yi has also played in the U.S. NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks, New Jersey Nets, Washington Wiz-ards and Dallas Mavericks.

Meanwhile, popular actor and singer Li Yifeng, who rose to fame after participating in the 2007 “My Hero” contest, will attend the CBA All-Star Weekend as a guest performer. He is best known for his roles

in television dramas “Swords of Legends” (2014), “The Lost Tomb” (2015), “Noble Aspira-tions” (2016) and “Sparrow” (2016) and the fi lm “Mr. Six” (2015) where he won the Hun-dred Flowers Awards for Best Supporting Actor. More than 430 illustrations created by international illus-trators are on display at the “Bologna Illustrators Exhibition & 50 Years Bologna Illustration Master Exhibition” at Yealife in Yitian Holiday Plaza.

The exhibition not only features 386 award-winning pieces from the 2016 Bologna Illustration Awards but also shows 50 masters’ works from the past 50 years since the Bolo-gna Illustrators Exhibition’s initiation in 1967. Noteworthy names include Quentin Blake, Eric Carle, Taro Miura and Sandra Navarro.

The illustrations are not lim-ited to paintings; embroidery, collage, paper-cutting and print pieces are also exhibited. Whether a few strokes or a complex scene, each illustra-tion tells a story, provoking strong imagery in the mind of each visitor.

The Bologna Illustrators Exhibition is one of the top

exhibitions of its kind in the world. The Bologna Illustrators Award is presented to excellent illustrators and is dubbed “the Oscars of the world’s illustra-tion community.”

A range of illustration salons, classes and lectures will coincide with the exhibition. Organizers see the exhibition as an impor-tant opportunity for parents to peer into their children’s inner world, for children to enjoy a colorful and creative experi-ence, and for fi ne art students to learn from international masters.Dates: Until Feb. 28
