Bluebeam Tutorial Bluebeam is a PDF review tool used to generate, package, and review Drawings. PDFs are our primary medium between departments and to the field and other disciplines Printing Shortcuts Bluebeam is also used to Redline drawings. Below is a list of Shortcuts that help when using this tool. Cloud C Cloud+ K Ellipse E Eraser Shift+E Highlight H Line L Arc Shift+C Arrow A Tool Chest The Tool Chest contains a multitude of Symbols that will help when redlining a drawing Select Print under the File Tab Select the Printer you would like to use Select the paper size or, if you are printing at full scale, select the Auto select Paper size option Select the Page range you would like to print use Commas in between sheets if you are printing a range but not all sheets Select Fit to paper. Bluebeam Tutorial

Bluebeam is a PDF review tool used to generate, package, and review Drawings. PDFs are our primary

medium between departments and to the field and other disciplines

Printing

Shortcuts

Bluebeam is also used to Redline drawings. Below is a list of Shortcuts that help when using this tool.

Tool Chest

The Tool Chest contains a multitude of Symbols that will help when redlining a drawing

Select Print under the File Tab

Select the Printer you would like to use

Select the paper size or, if you are printing at

full scale, select the Auto select Paper size

option

Select the Page range you would like to print

use Commas in between sheets if you are

printing a range but not all sheets

Select Fit to paper. As the PDFs should already

be at the correct Size there is no need to adjust

Place these on the drawing by dragging and

dropping

Combining Sheets

Open Bluebeam and select Combine under the File Tab.

Navigate to the folder containing the PDFs requiring combination. Select all PDFs you want to combine

then Select Open

Extracting Sheets

Right Click on one of the Sheet thumbnails and selet extract Pages

Replacing Sheets

Repeat for any additional sheets you may wish to replace

Once you have selected your files and reviewed

the Settings press okay and the Process will begin.

Once it is complete, Review your combined

thumbnail list to make sure all sheets are present.

Save as this combined file following our standard

naming convention

YYYY.MM.DD – Submission Name – Combined

Right Click on one of the Sheet

thumbnails and selet Replace Pages

Navigate to the folder containing the

PDF you wish to use to replace this

sheet

Check Replace Page content only

Press OK

Select Which Pages you would like

extracted and press OK.

Navigate to the Folder you would

like these pages extracted to and

Select Folder for the process to

begin
