LONE PINE TREE
DONATION Recently we were
extremely fortunate to
have received the very
kind donation of a Lone
Pine Tree from the
Maitland RSL Sub
Branch. This donation
was through the
Australian War Memorial
and has been very
proudly planted behind
our flag pole. We
sincerely thank the
Maitland RSL Sub
Branch and especially
the representatives who
attended the planting
celebration.
LOST PROPERTY Our 'Lost Property' box is
overflowing at the
moment with lots and
lots of jumpers and other
items of clothing, without
names. If your child is
missing a jumper,
chances are it may be
having a little holiday in
our 'Lost Property Box'!!
We are encouraging the
children to label their
jumpers and other
clothing items.
Your support with this is
appreciated.
WELCOME TO
WEEK 5
Tomorrow we are all
very excited to be
holding our combined
Education Week and
Book Week celebrations.
The afternoon will
commence at 12.00pm
where you are invited to
visit classrooms.
We will then all meet out
on the basketball court
at about 12.40pm and
be entertained by some
wonderful singing and
public speaking.
From 1pm until 2pm you
are invited to share a
picnic lunch with your
children.
Then after lunch we
have some fun activities
planned, including our
very special Book Week
Parade! We also have a
Book Fair in the Library
that you might like to
visit and have a look at
the many beautiful
books available to
purchase (cash only).
Don’t forget to dress
up as your favourite
book character!
We look forward to
seeing you there!
All Welcome!!
