Your Coach & FacilitatorMeg Price Bachelor of Business (HR) Advanced Diploma NeuroLeadership (current)

Meg has over twenty years’ experience in the people development and human resources fields. Her current work iscentered on helping people challenge their thinking in order to create the futures they desire.

Meg commenced her career in one of Australia's largest international legal firms, Minter Ellison as Human ResourcesManager. Meg also has international experience having lived and worked in Shanghai, China for the global recruitmentand HR consulting company, TMP Worldwide (now Hudson) as Country Business Manager.

In 2001, Meg established HR Inside, a boutique human resources and people development consultancy that provideslearning and development, consulting and coaching for a range of organisations large and small across both public andprivate sectors. The partnership between Michelle & Meg at Brain Insights delivers best practice programs.

Meg brings a deep passion to this work and has specialist facilitation and coaching expertise in helping individuals andgroups get to the heart of any matter. Meg’s work is centered around behavioral change and she has done extensive workwith employee engagement surveys, emotional intelligence development, cultural change programs, facilitatingdevelopment programs and coaching individuals to achieve organisational and personal goals

With her in depth experience and business acumen plus hands on working knowledge of human resources andmanagement issues in Australia and China, Meg brings creativity and a strong business sense to her consulting projects.This coupled with her strong workplace relationship focus provides the organisations she partners with a healthy balanceof both head and heart in delivering enhanced organisational performance.

Your Coach & FacilitatorMichelle Farley Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Chemical) and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry)

Michelle is a strategic and intuitive thinker with a strong commitment to both leadership and safety; she specialises in cultural transformations, safety performance improvement and authentic leadership development. Michelle is passionate about the innovation and value that the latest human behaviour and collaboration research can add. Her ability to understand and then operationalise this research in a down-to-earth, practical & fit for purpose way differentiates Brain Insight’s offering in the specialist consulting space.

Michelle is the Director of Safety Jouney and has developed SafetyJourney’s, reputation as experts in advising businesses and leadership teams on the improvement of organisational safety culture through understanding their intentional and unintentional personal and team behaviours. In assessing an organisation’s safety culture, Michelle draws on over 15 years of international and domestic experience in the Oil and Gas Industry; one that is recognised for its innovative approaches to safety. Michelle has a proven ability to move into an unfamiliar environment and quickly build productive and collaborative working relationships; then guide both individuals and teams through an exercise to distil an achievable and measurable strategy in response to their abstract & ill- defined problem. Through senior business leader roles Michelle has developed recognised expertise in coaching and mentoring. Her results- based coaching approach, and use of an Appreciative Inquiry model, have seen Michelle credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. Founding SafetyJourney has enabled Michelle to share her skills and experience with many diverseindustries striving for safety and leadership excellence. Michelle’s leadership and collaboration skills and innovative mind-set have created a distinct ability to support and guide leaders, teams and individuals through

Module 1: The Neuroscience of Leadership

This module introduces current research into neuroscience and Leadership behaviours. This workshop helps leaders create insights about the way they feel, think and behave at work. We also introduce the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI) – what it is and how it can benefit you.

Our success depends on our ability to be aware of why we react the way we do and also to read other people’s signals and react appropriately. Each one of us must develop understanding of how our brain operates at work and the emotional intelligence skills required to better understand, empathise and negotiate with other people

Module 2: Awareness and Insight

Awareness is the ability to recognise an emotion as it “happens”. Developing self-awareness requires tuning in to your true feelings. If you evaluate your emotions, you can manage them. This workshop examines our intent versus our impact and provides useful tools to regulate strong emotions in the workplace.

Emotional awareness is crucial for success – if we cannot recognise how we are feeling we are at risk of behaving in demeaning, angry, or belligerent ways that will turn others off. This module introduces the importance of Values and Mindfulness.

Module 3: Collaboration & Influence

Successful relationships are based on people being authentic and genuine and truly understanding each other’s viewpoint. EI skills are critical to strong relationships and strong relationships are critical to our happiness and wellbeing. This workshop looks at how we collaborate and influence others both in the workplace and with clients or potential clients.

It is also important for leaders to understand what triggers them in difficult situations. This module examines how we approach difficult conversations and conflict with a template for success.

Module 4: Leadership Agility

This module looks at the importance of agility, resilience, well-being and mindfulness. We look into the research behind these concepts and the importance for leaders to develop their skills in each of these areas.

We will provide activities to examine ways to increase your wellbeing and resilience levels. The ability to stay committed, challenged and feel in control rather than threatened by stress is more important than ever in todays fast pace digitalised environment. This module will look at the neuroscience research around mindfulness, optimism and flourishing

Coaching

The program involves 4 one-on-one brain based coaching sessions to ensure the development is specific and tailored to each individual. These sessions are confidential.The coaching sessions will be an integral part of the program to help support participants to generate new thinking, create learning and self development and promote focussed action in ways that benefit you.“Coaching” essentially means to transport someone from one place to another. In todays context, it’s about generating shifts, moving forward and creating change.

Using the latest insights into how the brain works, brain-based coaching is a new approach which complements and amplifies the principles and practises of coaching to create yet more powerful, positive and transformational changes for the coachee.
