Last Thursday evening parents and caregivers joined teachers in an informaƟon sessions relaƟng to their child’s class. Over 70% of families were represented during these sessions. Students and their families then joined us for a welcome BBQ and we had over 40 people in aƩendance throughout the evening. Thanks must go to Mathew Arabin for cooking a delicious BBQ for us. It was lovely to catch up with all families and it was a great opportunity to welcome new families and teachers to our fantasƟc school. There was lots of laughter and smiles throughout the evening and we look forward to sharing many more special memories with you throughout the year. Laurie Connery – Principal Mentor One of the strategies that the DEC has employed to support principal inducƟon is through the appointment of a principal mentor. I have been fortunate to have been matched with Mr Laurie Connery who is a Principal Liaison and also the principal of Moss Vale Public School. I will certainly seeking advice and support throughout the year to make the most of this wonderful opportunity.
