Arenewal application is sent approximately five to sevenweeks before the expiration date listed on the license.lndividuals who fail to renew within three years of thelicense expiration date are not eligible for a renewal andmust repeat the initial licensing process. To renew alicense, you must visit a Motor vehicles Agency. you mustpresent a completed renewal application; your currentdriver's license; acceptable proof of age, identification, andaddress; and proof of social security in the form of a socialsecurity card, a state or federar income tax return, acurrent pay stub, or a w-2 form. you must also pay therequired fee. If all the documents and payment are inorder, your photo will be taken and a new ticense will beissued.
